SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Jan 24th

Happy Sunday!
Especially to our lucky ones who have the makin's for a snowman! Here, if I made anything from our outdoor 'supplies' it would have to be Aqua-man. Sigh. But the wild ducks are happy, swimming all over our lawn, teasing our brave guard dog!
My TG quilt is almost all quilted and my vintage trailer blocks are almost ready to start assembling the top. Not sure how much sewing I'll get done today since we're going to breakfast at 9am and then watching football probably the rest of the day. Bronco's play at noon, I think. I'm not sure when the other game is, but probably around 4-ish? Guess I'll do laundry since the machines are right off the TV room. and the laundry basket somehow got to be waist-high! Oh dear!
BECCA - your R.A. doll was the bomb! Absulutely charming! Oh, in case CHICKIE forgets to tell you, Ava is her little granddog and lives nearby. CHICKIE and her crew visit her during the day for treats and walkies.
IRISH - I'm happy you are in potty heaven! Oh, a jackhammer can make a mighty mess of dust all over the house! When we remodeled our downstairs bathroom about 18 years ago, we had to jackhammer through the cement slab the house is built on. We hung sheets over doorways and the stairway, and they helped, but still - there was some dust even upstairs.
CHICKIE - no quilts for the cows. Insert sad cow face here. You see blankets and quilts on horses . . . They must be the wimps of farm animals, huh.
JANA - what a cute Ethan story! He is growing up so fast!! Neat to have those sandwiches ready to pull from the freezer! What else are you making?
TINA - I bet your dad will only have to stay in rehab a week or so. Depends on how the PT goes - which really means it kind of depends on him. My mom didn't get PT after her hip replacement in 1987 and she refused to do the exercises. And so never got off crutches for the rest of her life. There is a window post-op to do the PT and after that window closes, it's bye-bye mobility! Your dad is a young guy! All my brothers are older than he is!
Well, I'm going to make another fishing expedition into the freezer today. I'm almost positive there are some enchiladas in there but so far they aren't whats been falling out and hitting my toe!
I hope your supper doesn't break your toe tonite!
