SUPPER CLUB - sat, Dec 5th

Good Morning!
IRISH - you really had a long session with that cousin of Jim's! I hope it was all 'got' with no black eyes. How are you feeling? And I agree - absolutely no cooking! I think vacuuming and laundry and dishes would also be bad for you! But sewing would be soothing and healing! I know these things. I'm an R.N., remember.
LORI - hi! So your quilt top is finished? You just need to quilt and bind it? How big is the quilt? SUZETTE quilts all of her quilts on her domestic machine. Could you do that? Or your quilt shop might have a machine you could rent time on or they might even do it for you.
BECCA - poor little Adalynn! I really hope the brace works for her. But even if she has to go to the casts, babies adjust very well to such things. As a baby my nephew had casts to his hips with a 12" brace between his feet. Never slowed him down a bit. He crawled as fast as any other baby and he was everywhere! But it made me cry when I was with at him. I was 12 then.
JANA - they are putting a new Baskin Robbins in here - where the old one was years ago. We also have a Ben and Jerry's, but I try to stay out of those places. My favorite ice cream is plain old vanilla. Not a chocolate fan. I LOVE the real stuff, but not chocolate flavored things. So you can have all of my shares of all the chocolate ice creams!
TINA - you must be pretty busy, as always! I don't know how you get it all done with two little ones there all day long. Super Woman!!
Yesterday DH and I finished the last of our Christmas shopping and wrapping. I made some fudge and packed it up with DD's gifts and we mailed it all off to Texas. Glad to have that all finished on time! I also got the laundry done! Yay! Going into the weekend with no pressure. I STILL haven't gotten the binding on Warren's quilt, and I have a 3-hour Christmas brunch to attend in Tacoma today that may be delayed yet another day. But I still have a lot of time.
I found a dish of homemade chili in the fridge yesterday so I think supper tonite will be chili over baked potatoes with sour cream and shredded cheddar on top.
What's on your table for tonite?
