I'm late today! Sorry! Makes me think of one of my mom's favorite sayings, "The hurrier I go the behinder I get!" Just got caught up in decoerating the house. I have the upstairs (living/kitchen/sewing/office) all done though a bit of a mess remains to put away. Then the downstairs (family room and our bedroom). I'm not putting out my usual 15 totes of stuff, but still it will be plenty when it comes time to pick it all up again!
JANA - you probably have a new granddaughter by now! Hope all went smoothly! We have a cheap little train that I usually put under the tree in white fluff, with my village. Neither made the cut this year.
CHICKIE - did you save some of that brisket juice for those "special evenings" when you're trying to get Doyal's attention? You'll probably get the dogs's, too!
BECCA - you are really going to town on those cozies and ornaments! Would love to see a picture . . .
IRISH - so sad for Nicky to have to stay with his mom. and for her to threaten to get rid of his dogs!! That's just cruel. I hope she realizes that she's only needlessly adding to the pain her son is suffering. And doesn't bode well for a future mother/son relationship, either.
TINA - what's the word from New Mexico?
Well, according to a radio blurb I was listening to, if you haven't eaten or frozen your turkey leftovers by yesterday, they are goners. Ham and pumpkin pie go today. Since we have none of it, no worries here. We will be having siracha-flavored chicken, Mexican rice, and a big old salad! WE haven't had salad for a while so I've really been craving it lately.

Hello All.Been decorating & sewing.Today was potholders.Rainy & dreary as Mom used to say when she lived with us.
Maryz I will try to get a picture.I give DD & DGD all the ones I had made before Thanksgiving.These are more for friends.
Had to take DH about his new glasses.They made the wrong prescription for him.They did give a refund but you wait a month or longer on money.What a day it was for him.He had to get ugly & it was their mistake.

We just got lunch in Town so will be light here.Becca

Yes, she is here and doing wonderfully. Karlie Marie was born late last night, on the 30th of November. No December babies yet. Just a little mite at 7 lbs 10 ozs and just over 19 inches long. Mom and Dad are doing fine as well.
We have leftovers for dinner. They really turned out well last night.
Been a slug as I burnt my thumb on my left hand very well. Nice large blister, so it is a good second degree burn. DH is mother henning me making sure I don't get it infected. I have been told to keep my hand out of water, so he is doing the dishes! I can sew a little, but cutting is not happening, I am left handed!
