SUPPER CLUB - FRIDAY, Nov 6th

Good rainy morning!
CHICKIE - haha! I wondered who I'd catch with my "Friday-Eve" quip. Kinda scary, your weather. Here, we consider our weather to be wild if we have steady rain and wind gusts up to 25 mph! Glad you had a safe (and FUN!) place to be during the worst of it!
JANA - Golden State! That's it! Why did I put 'bear' in there? I get a half-point, anyway. Glad moving day has arrived! I bet those kitties are even gladder!
TINA - your wine glass Santas are so cute!! What's next??
IRISH - Actually, I love being in a hot tub when it's LIGHtLY snowing. Sleet is another matter! That's so funny what Jim said about Kathy cooking 'strange'. Our men like what they like! Our side of the mountains is very green and lush. But no pines. We have fir and cedar trees here. And maples and alders. The only pines here are planted. But as soon as you get on the eastern slope of the Cascades you will find beautiful pine trees! You will also find desert, prairie, and agricultural areas. Washington is almost like two different states.
BECCA - sorry you have gloom, but that's when I put on all the lights, build a fire if it's chilly, and sew the day away. Or snuggle up with a cat, a quilt, and a book. Tarheel state! I knew that! and then I forgot it, I guess.
Today is all about UGH-lies and laundry. Might as well clutter up just one day and do it all at once. Then maybe this afternoon I'll have some free time to sew something. I'm saving yard work until the leaves stop falling all over my clean flowerbeds! That will be another two weeks at least.
Supper here will probably be pasta and salad. No leftovers in the fridge so no coasting for me at cooking time. But we'll see what DH says. Sometimes he has an idea that really 'cooks'!
What's cookin' at your house?
