SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Nov 3rd

Good morning!
No rain! Whoop-de-doo!! Big doin's today! It's the first day of the semi-annual 5-day 40% off EVERYTHING sale at my favorite LQS. and her prices are already 20% lower than anyone else's, so it's really quite a savings! All quality fabrics. Here is where I stock up on my whites, creams, and blenders. Also, I have a list of other fabrics I"m on the hunt for - some Christmas prints, chili pepper fabric, patriotic, etc. It's great fun! Final cost ranges from $3 to $$6 per yard. Even DH has gone with me a time or two. He knows the cost of good fabric so he encourages me to buy, buy BUY. Plus it's nice to have a 'slave boy' to tote those arm loads of bolts to the cutting counter!
IRISH - I saw something yesterday I've wanted to see for a long time - a picture of you!!! On Facebook! And what a gorgeous photo it is, too! And a great background - Lake Tahoe, I assume? you are even prettier than I'd imagined! How did Dan's girlfriend like her costume? And you try to behave today when out with the girls. You can tell by my opening paragraph that I won't have much cash to spare for bail money!
BECCA - oooh, how is your hand? Hope the burn heals quickly. One more reason to stay out of the kitchen and keep to your sewing room. I've I'm going to have a burn I want it to be from sewing and not from cooking!
JANA - I haven't seen that mix for salsa - but then I haven't looked either! Moving weekend coming up for the kids! I bet everyone is happy about that!! Did you say they will only be a few blocks from you?
TINA - sorry Jayda's mom is such a poopy-head. Some people are just like that. some day she will have a lot of regrets. One year, when my kids were little, we had a birthday party for our cat, Larry, who was 1 yr old. We invited about 6 neighbor kids, I made a cat-shaped cake, we had Goldfish crackers, played cat-themed games, and each kid got to go home with a gift bag of catfood for their cat! Kids loved it!
CHICKIE - Are you STILL recovering from that wild party the other night???
Well, you know how leftovers tend to take on a life of their own? Well, I still have half of the leftover casserole left over. So that, and salad, will be on our menu for tonite. It was pretty good. I won't mind a re-run.
What's on your menu for tonite?
