SUPPER CLUB - Mon, Nov 2nd

Well, now, wasn't that a great sports party we had! DH and I sat on our patooties and watched our Seahawks win in a real squeaker over Dallas, and then we rolled right into the World Series where Kansas City took the whole thing in the 12th inning. It poured rain all day long and we didn't care a bit!
CHICKIE - Oh, I believe you about the old timey treatment for the cysts! But there have been advancements in medicine since those days. And Bill's doctor needs a new boat! So Bill is going to do his part . . .
TINA - I'd forgotten that Easton was born on Holly's birthday! My Brother's dog has the same birthday as Scottie, July 26. And my Foxy kitty and I have the same birthday! And Autumn, my dad, and my first sheltie, Shamrock, were all born on Jan 10th. We like doubling up in our family, too!
BECCA - I think we've all learned, to our chagrin, that there are some folks to whom we just don't give handmade gifts.
JANA - well, you are certainly making up for lost trick-or-treaters in your new location!! I guess if I ever decide to move I should keep that in mind . .
IRISH - Last night I dreamed I made a big pot of salsa and gave it away as Christmas gifts! It's a good idea, don't you think? And yesterday must have been the day for breakfast complaints. That was our table, too! Our usual place has been going downhill, but the last two Sundays, our orders have either been mixed up, forgotten, or just plain inedible. And the coffee is undrinkable. (we're forced to drink bloody marys!) We are going to break tradition and go to a different restaurant next Sunday.
Our chicken dinner last night was pretty good! So we're going to re-run it again tonite. Chicken and noodles with Dijon sauce, peas, and salad. I may make a casserole with the chix/noodles/peas/sauce. We'll see what I feel like later this afternoon.
Thanksgiving is only 24 days away. Do you have any special, unique recipes or traditions for that special day?
