SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Oct 27th
October is marching on! Do you realize there are only 58 more sewing days until Christmas?? That being said, I just finished a gift last night - a 26" square table topper. Now to make some pot holders to go with and that gift will be 'wrapped up'!
CAROL7 - I'll gladly share some of my rain with you, though I think Texas would be gladlier!
CHICKIE - I think the post office says it's OK to mail apple crisp. Just sayin' . . . . And as soon as I can make The Scot sit still long enough, I'm going to be sending you a picture! Woof!
IRISH - here's a thought - if your DS is serious about moving back home, and if Nicky wants to go to college in PA, are there any financial breaks for state residents? Usually, you have to be a resident for at least a year to get those breaks.
BECCA - sounds like Sawyer might be a prodigy! Cute AND smart!
Well, DH opted for meatloaf over chili last night! Surprised me. So we had that with baked sweet potato, brussels sprouts, and salad. Tonite, we'll have hot meatloaf sandwiches, I think with mashed potatoes, asparagus, with salad. I will save the chili for Friday, which will see us through the weekend, probably. It's good Halloween fare.
Do you have an idea yet of what you might be supping upon tonite?

Mary, my supper plans changed last night too, I ate such a big lunch with Holly and Easton that I just ate a small salad for supper, Frankie added a burger to his plate. Tonight I'm thinking, banned, or tacos or soup. I have the meat thawing for soup but I don't have cabbage and I'd rather wait and put it in the crock in the morning with all the yummies
) so either banned or tacos tonight. See how easy I can talk myself out of or in to things LOL

Arrrrrrrugh! I could have done without that bit of information, Mary!!! I’m going to be in crisis mode before long.
Remind me, and when you come next time, I’ll make apple crisp! Love Scotty’s picture!!! We are going to The Halloween Party Friday night. Aaron’s bunch is going as the Scooby Doo gang… They are reversing roles, and Aaron will be the girl, and Terri the guy… what a hoot! I need to think of things to take…
Meatloaf! I like meatloaf sandwiches with brown mustard! Maybe I need to thaw some burger…
Tina—I like cabbage in my veggie soup. It’s easy to talk me into something easy to cook! Just call me Lazy!
I think I’ll wait on the meat loaf and make the steak that is ready to throw in the grill pan for DH. I have big portabella mushrooms for me… one tonight, and one tomorrow. I might put mine on a wheat bun… There will be salad, potatoes of some type, and maybe something green… Does apple crisp count as a fruit?
Enjoy!

Good morning!
We have been eating around here - it is a little bit hectic, but we do get dinner.
I have no idea what dinner will be tonight - the kids are still running and getting the last things missed at the old house - they turn it over to the landlord on Friday.
It is COLD here - we are just above freezing at night and barely 50 during the day now. There is snow up in the tops of the mountains in the Wasatch Back - just the other side of what I look at - won't be long here.
Enjoy!

Good early afternoon from semi dreary and cold, SW. Pa....it is hard to believe it's already the end of October but today's weather makes it feel like December.....
We had a funeral this morning and now, I'm off to see the dentist... I sure hope this new fellow knows, I don't open my mouth with out a pain killer or better yet, putting me under, lol.....I have this thing about dentist, bad experience when I was young and it's stayed with me all these years....
Mary, Terry has already done some planning and if Nick goes to the same college his brother attends, even living in Pa. is a very good deal...But, it's up to him....I just want them here!
As for our dinner, that is still on hold...Might be soup and a sandwich or might be a scrambler and sausage.....Guess I should break down and bake, maybe later.......
Happy eating..............
