Sept 23rd! Happy Half-birthday to me!!
CHICKIE - a third dog?? This is good because there was probably about 4 square inches of your bed that was vacant! lol! Congratulation! I love his name - "Boomer"!
IRISH - so bummed to hear your Jim is headed back to to the doc. I hope the bandage isn't too big!
TINA - So what became of your hamburger?
LADY CAROL - I think that Falling Charms would look good in almost anything. I like brights on black myself.
JANA - That was a short winter! Dump cake sounds tasty to me!
As for supper tonite, we have a short layover in the Detroit Airport so supper might just be whatever we can scrounge up there.
Well, now I'm really going. Y'all be good, y'hear!

Good afternoon from a very sunny, pleasant, Autumn day in SW. Pa....It would be a purrrfect day to be outside and try to tackle some of the yard work, if I were in the mood...Guess what, I'm not in the mood......
Jim had his early, early surgery this morning and we're both plum tuckered out! And, sadly, he did come home with a much larger bandage..Years ago, I really should have bought stock in the makers of bandages/tapes and bandaids....But, I think the saddest part, is Jim not being able to "understand" time....We had to leave the house at 6:45 and about 12:30, he started, is it time yet, about 2:30, he got up and got dressed but I convinced him to come back to bed....Life is indeed interesting!
Mary having dinner in Detroit, that's different but hope it's good.....On our trip, we stopped in Denver and anyone being to the Denver airport knows how big it is...After we got to our gate (in the next county), I was afraid to venture too far and ended up with a kid's meal from McDonalds...But, we do what we gotta do, right....Sending prayers and best wishes for a safe trip.....
As far as our dinner, it's left over from last's night...Swiss steak, potatoes and broccoli...Good last night will be extra good tonight, just because I don't have to do a lot of cooking......
And as Mary said, "Y'all be good, y'hear!"
Happy eating...............

Good afternoon,
Well I will be cooking for a family again. Sarah an her tribe will be staying with us until the house is done. About November 4th. Sarah has packed up her kitchen. That is a major job! She is like me with tons of toys to cook and bake with. People are coming in and out of the house she rents now, so she is tired of trying to live in it, so the packing has begun. The POD container will be delivered on Tuesday. Besides the kitchen, the worst will be the Grand Piano and the organ.
This will probably be my last night out hitting a drive thru for just us.
Enjoy,
Jana

Shh Everyone!
Tonight's dinner will be "mac n'cheese". We were on vacation last week and I think we ate a little too well!
Irish - I am sorry for Jim, but sorry for you too. Sounds like you lost a bit of sleep.
Tina - Hope you enjoy those pork chops!
Becca - Enjoy your dinner.
Jana - I have lots of toys in my kitchen too. Am I remembering correctly that Sarah has moved a couple of times in the last few years?
Maryz - Have a great trip!
Carol
