SUPPER CLUB - Fri, Sept 18th

Good morning!

The bed got too crowded for me around 0230. Two cats can really take up a lot of room when they stretch out and get comfy! Then there were some critters outside in a loud fight. I don't want to know what that was about, but Scottie was barking all through the house, running from door to door. I gave up trying to sleep around the cats,got up and went to putter in my sewing room. And now here I am.

We are finally out of leftovers. Whew! It was tough, but we got 'em all gagged down. Tonite, I think we're going to have chicken fajitas. I have all the fixin's.

So what's the word around your kitchen for tonite?

Mary z Those mites are soooo. Long.Maybe you need a nap today.

I put my pork loin roast on early in crockpot.Will make gravy for DH.Will bake sweet potatoes,& broccoli steamed.Have brownies I made.

We had dogs barking outside which set up an uproar inside here as well... hard to get a good night's sleep! Hope you get a nap!

Becca--sounds delicious! Add some fried apples to it--yum!!! So similar to our pork chops dinners--great minds...

Mary--of course I like fajitas.

I think here will be steak for DH and maybe a bite or two for me. Baked sweet potato, broccoli, salad and lemon bars will be the sides.

Good afternoon from a gorgeous, sunny, warm SW. Pa....I'd love if this weather would stick around until at least June and then have summer......

Mary, I know what you mean about the "crowded" bed and only 1 of our's uses the bed...What I want to know, is how a 13 pound cat feels like she weighs at least 50 pounds when she decides to either jump or lay on your chest during the night.....
AND if you weren't so far away, I'd have another cat for you...At lunch the other day, a friend was telling me about the cutest little tuxedo that had been abandoned....She can't take it in (allergies) but she does put out food and is worried about winter...This is the same friend whose neighbor moved and actually left a dog and 3 cats behind in the house...My friend has managed to find homes for the other 2 cats and someone has taken in the dog but there's still the tuxedo.......Sorry to say, but this neighbor should rot in h***!

Becca, been thinking and praying for the baby....Hoping for great results with the brace....Your dinner sounds so good....

Been thinking of Joanne lately, wondering how she's doing...AND, her Reds have been in town and have been beating up on our Pirates...In fact, 1 of our players had to have surgery last night....Not to blame the Reds but I'm glad they're gone, lol.......

Not sure what I'll get into today except "kitty blocks"...Most of the uglies are done and no errands to run...Good feeling to have nothing planned....

As far as dinner, I might be making a banned, "mac n cheese" tuna casserole...Jim likes it and at this point, I'll make anything just to get him to eat......We do have store bought cookies and ice cream (lots of ice cream) for afters.......

Good afternoon,

Turned out to be a beautiful day here - brisk, but otherwise very nice. The colors are starting to turn. The canyon to my West has turned beautifully red and orange.

DH doesn't know this yet, but dinner will be out.
