SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Sept 15th

Good Morning! Sorry I've been MIA the last few days. We've been on the run, it seems. But we've been so enjoying our company! They were gone a big part of yesterday visiting other friends so I took that opportunity to make applesauce and can it, make some homemade chili and pop it into the crockpot, get a good start on putting my Christmas Swap quilt top together, and finally put an El's Angels Cancer comfort quilt on the frame and got it half quilted. Whew! I was beat by 5pm and crashed at 9pm.
IRISH - I'm sorry there's going to be upheaval in your son's life, but it sounds like when the dust settles and he gets his new life going, things will be better. I worry for your Nicky though. When my sister got a divorce - about 35 years ago - it was the first in this very Catholic family. She was afraid to tell our parents. Daddy's only remark was, "What took you so long?"
TINA - every day at your house is busy! How is your back doing?
JANA - what's going on your table tonite? My sister is headed to Richfield, UT today or tomorow with friends to ride the Piaute Trail for 10 days. Then she's coming here!
LADY CAROL - are you back from your Beer Swig Event with your caravan group yet? Hopefully your weather was nice!
BECCA - I know you have a busy day planned, too. Maybe it will be a Subway day . . . .
VELDA - back to your son's? I forgot just how far that is. I'm sure he and his kids appreciate your back-up support!
This is our last night with our friends so I was thinking of getting some steaks. We have yams we could bake, too, though we've had them 2 nights already. But I'll probably bake them anyway. I guess salad and corn and green beans? I have 'no sugar added' ice cream for afters. That should do it!
Have you figured out your supper plan yet?
