Good afternoon from partly sunny, semi chilly, SW. Pa....Not a good temperature wise day for me...I don't like having to wear socks and sweatshirts......
We went to early Mass and then on to breakfast and was able to get caught up on all the happenings since we had been away......It was so nice to have DS, Terry, with us but all good things have to come to an end and about an hour ago, he left to go back to NC...He really did a lot of talking and has decided the future will be different...He's starting a new job the 1st of Oct. will be living back at home and not having to commute which will be good for Nick...But, those plans also include a separation and divorce somewhere down the line....I hate to say this but I've always wondered how he "put up" with some of the things and also wondered why it took so long for this to happen...It's always sad but, I'm sure he's thought, long and hard and it's for the best....
And with that, it's back to just Jim and I and the fur babies...No more company for awhile, I think....I'm sure the fur kids will be happy not to have to share their space with anyone, lol....
As far as dinner, it might be just soup and sandwich....Jim's tummy is acting up and might be best to go light....Gee, I might even make him some Jello.............
So what's going to be on your dinner table tonight?

And I almost forgot something very important! In the world of sports, our Pirates won big last night AND Notre Dame won a thriller in the last few seconds of their game........

I haven't posted here in ages!!! Believe me, we are still eating well. Just been so much going on and I jumped over the CHIT CHAT, without hopping on and posting. Sorry......
It's been such a pretty day here. I was outside a lot today. Felt so good to be able to walk Willy and not suffer with the heat and humidity.
We are going away tomorrow to visit out son once again. I sure wish his divorce would come to an end. Seems the lawyers are dragging this out way longer than it needs to be.
So for dinner tonight, it will be left overs. We had Taco Salad last night. DH and I always eat "Taco" night as a Salad that we make individually on our own plate. We crush up the taco chips on it, instead of using a taco shell. It is so much easier to eat and we both enjoy it better. Less messy.
Don't know much else from this corner of the world. I will be getting my fabrics together to make my signature block for El's quilt. What a nice group of ladies to step up to the plate and do this from all of us.

I'm just now fixin to start supper, tacos here and salad and since the kids are here I'll make some Spanish rice.
I made my block for El and it's just waiting to be popped into the mailbox in the morning and I just finished fusing all my kitties onto their backgrounds, my back is done in so after supper it's recliner time for me.
