SUPPER CLUB - Sat, Sept 12th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sat Sep 12, 2015 2:58 am

Good Morning!

I'm starting to lose track of the days! Thoroughly enjoying our friends, but we seem to be so busy! I'm getting up earlier and earlier to do things like empty the dishwasher, make tablerunners, etc. But having such a good time!

Tonite, we have 3 more folks coming by and we're going to have a big old BBQ! Pork loin, baked sweet potatoes, green salad, 3-bean salad, and a layered pudding dessert. someone might even open a bottle of wine!

y'all stop by! There will be plenty!

Good late morning from dreary, chilly, rainy SW. Pa. I can't believe this weather or I should say, my body isn't accepting this weather. I have a feeling I won't accomplish too much today....How long can you claim jet lag???

But, all in all, this week end will be good...Terry, our youngest Ds, is here from N.C. After his last visit, he should try to come more often. Although, I hate to see him travel that much, I'm loving it...So he and 1 dog, Scout, are here...

Mary, your house sounds like "the happening place". You really do know how to have fun...AND, you dinner sounds great!

As I said, not sure what might be happening today but have a feeling Terry needs to talk...I've known things haven't been good with dw but we'll see.....Moms have big shoulders......

And as for dinner, the freezer is full, just gotta decide.... Last night, while I was waiting for him to get here, I baked an apple pie so we do have afters......

Happy eating....

Jana, almost forgot...In our paper, I love the comic, Pickles, and the other day, the DGS was worried because Grandma had lost her voice. He said he was really sad but then said, " She can still bake cookies, can't she?".....
