SUPPER CLUB Friday September 11th

Good morning or middle of the night actually ;-)
I had nothing better to do than get up in the middle of the night and set the table for you all :-) Sleep is just sooooo over rated, don't you think?
We've been having really nice weather, you can tell Fall is coming :-) Frankie works till 3 today, when they have a paid holiday he loses his day off, I tell him he's not getting his paid holiday that way but nothing he can do for it. Anyway after work he's going to pick up more chili for us to freeze :-) this will be medium heat :-) so supper will most likely have chili in it :-)
What will grace your tables tonight?

Good Morning!

Tina, sorry sleep was elusive for you, but you can get a lot done in those midnight hours! Thanks for getting the table set for us! More chilies sounds delish to me!

I think our dinner will involve leftover turkey, a big salad, and some other veggie. Our friend that is visiting is a very overweight diabetic, so I'm trying to make proper food for him and not tempt him with things he shouldn't have. So we're going heavy with the veggies. and maybe baked sweet potatoes.

Mary z That should make your menus easier.

I am cooking a pot of pinto beans.Since I was sick Food still does not taste right.Thought beans with cornbread may hit the spot.DH has his cream horns.

Good Morning Everyone!
It is another warm day in Southern California, however it is cooler than yesterday and will be cooler next week.

Tina - Sorry you couldn't sleep.

Maryz - Good for you making healthier food for your friend.

Becca - Hope the beans taste good to you today!

Have you seen the new design palette on QIAD fabric pages? It is really nice. The selection of blocks is limited and I am assuming that since this is new the selection will increase. I had been eyeing some fabric and found it on sale this morning so I used the design palette and it looks wonderful!!

Hope everyone's day includes fabric!
