Supper Club, Sept. 9th, Wed., I think...

Post by Irishgram » Wed Sep 09, 2015 9:35 am

Good afternoon, for the last time, from gorgeous Reno....Yep, it's almost time to leave for the airport and then back to reality....

I can't believe no one has been to the table yet...Our leader must be busy with her up coming company....

We have had a great time, Kathy and Tim have put up with us wonderfully. Boy, am I going to miss talking to her in person...Last night, Tim built a fire in the pit and she and I sat out there for hours, talking and roasting marshmallows. So much fun.....

As for dinner, that will probably be a couple peanut butter crackers some where high in the sky, between here and Pennsylvania...Not sure when we'll be home but just getting from the Pgh. airport will be a challenge with the parkway being closed....I imagine tomorrow will be a lost day, lol

Hope you all have a great day..

So what's planned for your table? Has to be more exciting than mine....

Happy eating

Irish, sounds like you have been having the best time! :-) I'm happy for you :-) sorry it has to come to an end though. Safe flight.

We're not having peanut butter crackers but we are having chicken, zucchini and green beans.

Last night I made pork chops using a recipe I had not used before from Betty Crocker. Since it is done on top of the range and takes only a few minutes of actual prep it is a perfect recipe for a very warm day. Today is another very warm day and we have leftovers so we will be eating them. The pork chop recipe is: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/por ... 764?src=SH I did increase the chicken broth to 3/4 cup and I added a couple of stalks of celery cut into 1/2-inch pieces. My DH loved this recipe!!

Irish - Have a good flight!

Tina - Your dinner sounds good.
