This year I started sewing charity projects - mostly chemo hats, and lap quilts for seniors.
I am debating though on putting some kind of label or something on them, so people will know and personalize them somewhat.
Is this acceptable? I would not put my name, just looking for maybe a small poem or something?
Also for the chemo hats -- should I attach a little poem or something?
I know when groups do these things they always have something attached, but not sure as a individual if I should, or just leave them plain.
Any suggestions?

Re: Ideas for labels for charity quilts and chemo hats??
Joan, I say they need some kind of label. I've been working on the labels for the Comfort Quilts, this is what I've come up with so far:
A comfort quilt
To give you hugs,
Strength from
El's Angels
Quilted by
Tina
Month/year
Or maybe
A comfort quilt
For:
A quilty hug
From El's Angels
Quilted by
Tina
Month/year
or
Sending hugs,
comfort and prayers
from El's Angel
to give you comfort
while you fight
your fight
made by
month, year
a poem would be great too.
I hope this helps
