Good Morning!
We really got a lot done yesterday with the DGS here to help out He washed ALL the windows in house, garage, and shop. Then he washed and vac'd both our vehicles. DH was tuckered after all that and sent him home so he (DH!) could take a nap! lol! But he'll be back this afternoon. I got into the act, too, and got the upstairs all whipped into shape - if you don't count the kitchen floor.
LADY CAROL - sorry it wasn't a Seahawk game you were watching but your show does sound interesting, anyway. Did you learn anything?
BECCA - so happy you are back with us! and what a nice DD to come help while you were down and out. and to make meals ahead to freeze. My DD made us a casserole in 1997 when I had my hysterectomy. She's still crying about having to touch an onion! lol!
JANA - a funny story about Stu's suitcase! But probably not all that unusual for kids. Or husbands. lol! and how is Stu doing? Have you heard anything from him?
CHICKIE - actually, your chicken sounds good to me!
TINA - was it something you ate? Hope today is better. Do you have to go to jury duty this morning?
Yesterday I made homemade pizza for lunch for our slave-worker. (right after I made butterscotch oatmeal cookies for his breaktie). so DH and I were full come suppertime. I guess we'll have our leftover chicken tetrazzini for dinner tonite along with a big salad.
all our local kids/grandkids are coming for brunch Monday morning - the only time everyone could be together. But my DD#1 is vegetarian, won't eat eggs, and is VERY picky about everything else. I try to get vegetarian products for her, but I never seem to get the right brand. Everyone else just gobbles whatever I put on the table. So my head is now in overload trying to decide what to fix. If I can still find them, there will be watermelon, though!
