Supper club, Aug, 19th, Wed....
Good morning from sunny, warm, purrrfect, SW. Pa...It really is a gorgeous day here in SW. Pa....And to make it more purrrfect, the grass doesn't need mowed this week....This is the time of the year, Jim and his buddy, Ted wait for...Grass is starting to turn brown in spots and the fellows are happy, lol.....Now if we start getting a lot of rain, they're not going to be too happy....
I've spent the morning going through more cross stitch stuff and I think I just might have it all sorted...
Jana, believe it or not, the box is packed up and ready to go...Now to get it to the P.O. By the time I get all this taken care of, Terry will be visiting again and bringing me more, lol....
Was going to work in the garden but think I'd better get my sister's curtains finished before she dis-owns me..And a nephew gave me some leather like fabric to make him a cover for his motorcycle seat..Now that should be interesting!
Did find my pattern for the cat swap and really want to work on that but curtains 1st.....
For 3 weeks the main street has been blocked off and all the traffic has to come up our's and the noise (and traffic) is starting to get to me..Part of the street is only wide enough for 1 car and last night we had some yelling and horn blowing because someone didn't want to back up...Not only my nerves are wearing thin.....
Last night ended up being swiss steak and mashed spuds so tonight might be stuff on the grill...Either that or chicken ala king, depending on my mood, lol.....Still haven't baked but do have cookies and ice cream....
So, what mood will you be in for dinner? Of course a good mood adjuster would be if someone would come, make, serve and then clean up... Guess I'm asking for too much......
Happy eating................
Mary is soon due home, isn't she???? I really, really miss her.....

Hi Irish
I'm so looking forward to cooler weather, we've been over 100 the past few days, yuck-o! I haven't been doing anything outside and boy can you tell! Maybe Friday I'll be able to get something done, this weekend we have a 30% chance of rain so I want to try to get some done before.
I've got pumpkin bread in the oven for Frankie, he was looking for something to eat last night and there wasn't anything to eat LOL the shame of it! LOL
Tonight we're having fish and salad. Last night we were going to have it but DD didn't have food at her house and she hates fish so we had burgers, fried potatoes, corn and salad.....I only had salad with my burger cut up in it
Tina

Hello everyone,We are still in rain patter n here.Showers off & on & some heavy mixed in.
Irish Your family sounds like mine.If you sew you are the miracle worker.I used to think to myself they must feel that way with some of the projects they brought to me.But I always managed.
Tina Your heat sounds unbearable.Wow I couldn't hack that.We have been in 70s this week.Hoping things are improving with Mom & Dad.Its hard when they lose their independence. For you & them.
DH still has some of his pork BBQ ,cole slaw, English peas,For me Chicken breast grilled, salad & ice cream afters.......Becca

Good afternoon!
Thank you Irish - will be looking for it one of these days - no hurry!
When we lived in Concord - it was at the end of a court - cul-de-sac - and if we suddenly got traffic - we knew that there was a police action or a wreck up on the main drag.
Tina - cool is on the way - two cold fronts passed through here in the last couple of days and cooled us off. We are expecting that the monsoon will start up next week and wash out our air from all the smoke. I still can't see my mountains - heck, I can only see as far as the church, which is just 1/2 block away!
Becca - prayers for that new little one! Love her name!
Dinner - I picked up some quick and dirty - as I call it - raviolas from Costco - tasted pretty good. Not as good as my homemade ones, but will do for a quick dinner when I am not in the mood to cook. I am not in the mood to cook tonight - so that is what we will be eating, with a homemade marinara sauce that I canned last summer. Salad on the side too.
I am working on adding the borders to my El's Kitchen Quilt - almost done and ready for the LA!
Enjoy,
Jana
