Good morning from yet another gorgeous day here in the east....I have a feeling, when this weather leaves us, we're in for a terrible shock.....But, Mother Nature will do what Mother Nature wants to do, right????
Jana, when I get a chance, I'll send you some goodies, lol....So happy to find a good home for some of this stuff.....
Boy, do I have a day planned, a very good day....I'm meeting the gals for lunch and we're going to a new place, I think called Puzzles...Even the name makes you wonder, lol...One of the gals just bought a new home, which she is having it completely gutted and re-done so we need to give our expert opinions...And in between eating and home looking, there are a few little shops that need investigated...Does that sound like a fun day or what?
Of course Jim will be on his own for both lunch and dinner but he sure won't starve...If nothing else, he has his Ensure, which he loves....
So, I have a feeling, no cooking for me (sob, sob, sob)...Hopefully, I'll get back to roll into my chair and watch the Pirate game tonight.....(They beat St. Louis last night, finally)......

Chickie I too can live on Summer produce.Mostly cukes,Tomatos & melons.Both my neighbors gave me new varieties hyesterday to try.One sold heirloom plants this year.Now his are all producing.One is green giant & it is green when ready to eat.have a great Birthday for DH.

DH wanted his bacon fix.For me turkey smoked sausage.green beans & cucumber salad.Cherry pie for DH. Becca

Don't really know what will happen here in the next few days - it is my 40th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday - so DH and I will go off and do many things - eating out will be one of them. The kids are taking us out to dinner for a party next week-end - One of them who was helping in the planning forgot and planned a family vacation before the school year started. No problem - we didn't want a fuss. Seems just like yesterday that I was getting ready for the wedding. We went camping for a honeymoon and it rained on us the whole time. It doesn't rain in California in August - yeah right! LOL We even planned the reception to be outdoors - in the evening as Concord gets quite hot during the day in August - nope - got cold! Just couldn't win - the reception was at DH's parents - we just moved inside from the backyard.
Sorry Becca - ate all the dumplings - only make a very small batch.
