Supper club, Aug, 11th, Tuesday........

Good morning from sunny, very, very pleasant, SW. Pa....A little cooler than it's been but it's still a gorgeous, purrrrfect day here in the east....

WELL!, where has everyone been????? Have you all been on a "hunger" strike? That sure hasn't been happening in this household, lol....I swear it's been one long buffet and jokingly told the "gang", running out of paper plates, soon time to go home....But, honestly, I'm loving every minute even the endless kitchen duty.....The hardest thing is coming up with ideas but so far no one has gone hungry....

We've done the Chinese buffet, we've done a little fast foods and pizza...Last night was a biggie with swiss steak and the works...I did put a eye of round in the crock pot and hopefully, we'll have pulled beef sandwiches and roasted veggies....Goodies are running out so I do need to get something baked...Knowing they don't get a lot of home cooking at home unless Nick or Terry do it, makes me feel extra good while I'm cooking...Boy, am I going to hate to see them go....

The car should be finished in the morning so they're going to try to be packed up and leave as early as possible....Stephan starts classes next Mon. and has to get moved into his apartment, which is about 4 hours from where they live in N.C. Always something.....

And then I get to get ready for the next invasion, coming on Sunday.....

Hopefully you gals are all eating and behaving....Well, at least eating......

Irish We knew you were having too much fun to think of us.lolKnow you hate to see them leave.I know how I am when they drive out.Leaves a void.But you are having more.Just enjoy.

Yes we have been eating.Yesterday was black beans over rice with spring onions on top.And cookies & ice cream for later.

We have been having showers daily so everything is growing.Our young man has everything looking ship shape.Our Mama & fawn continue to visit each day.So neat as fawn still has her spots.

We had leftovers so they will grace the table.Happy eating to all....Becca

Oh, yes, still eating here. The cycle is never ending. LOL
I like fixing Hamburger Helper with Ground Turkey, so last night we had Potato Stroganoff. Not spelled right, though. We added green beans to the mix. A nice salad and jello with fruit cocktail and a cookie for after.

It always makes so much, that we get two meals. Tonight will be left overs and that is just fine with me. No extra cooking and very little dishes on the clean up committee.

I got my black fabric that I ordered on line for the lotto. I washed it out by hand. That Kona Black fabric really does have VERY LITTLE fade or bleed. I was very imptressed.

I only have enough of the bright colors to make a couple of blocks, but at least it will be an entry.

Good afternoon!

Oh, if only there was a hunger strike! LOL Ethan is on a growth spurt and is a walking hollow leg - he is eating me out of house and home! Also, hasn't asked or had a melt down for a binky - pacifier for almost two weeks.

Dinner here will be chicken something and fresh corn.

I remember the days we left visiting my mom, with us heading back to Ca, ot when the kids came with the new grandbabies - now, they are right here! Well, almost all, I will still have one un Ca.
