"Mac and cheese" pierogies?? That is just so wrong! But it does sound like you are keeping your tummies full while I am gone. Our friends went charter fishing yesterday and got four halibut which equaled around 30 pounds of fish they have to fit into their little RV freezer . I told them I would store their hamburger and chicken but not their fish! Don't want to have to buy another refrigerator because of contamination issues!

We are in Ninilchik, Alaska, About 140 miles south of Anchorage on the Kenai peninsula. Going to Seward today and then on to Anchorage for a few more nights. Will be heading home soon. I think foxy kitty is ready for home-he keeps shredding the toilet paper and the paper towels whenever he's left in the trailer! LOL we are going through a roll of TP a day so I had to hide it from him, but that also hides it from me!

Tonight we will be grilling chicken. I have five packages of chicken and you can't take it into Canada, we learned the hard way. Not raw, anyway. So we need to cook it up soon we have about six days until we cross back into Canada on our return trip.

If anybody wants chicken for dinner give me a call!

Good late morning from warm, sunny, summer like, purrrfect, SW. Pa...We've really had a streak of great weather and would be nice if it stays......

Mary, so glad to see you at the table...I've been thinking about you, telling Terry all about you and your travels...Rest assured, we didn't have the "mac n cheese" last night...The kids opted for sloppy joes, corn on the cob, fresh beans and store bought cookies.....All is good! So funny about Foxy, poor baby misses his home...We have pretty much the same thing with Terry's, Casey...Not 10 minutes ago, she found the garbage bag in the basement and it was clean up time....

Today is, once again, laundry day..Sheets are on the line and uglies are almost done....Not sure what we're going to do the rest of the day....Terry feels he should be helping or doing something while he's here but he's on vacation, right!

For dinner, this could be hot dogs on the grill with all the fixings...Of course if I had some CHICKEN, we could so something special, lol.....I did bake a couple loaves of banana/nut bread and I promised to bake a Texas sheet cake...I don't get the chance to spoil these guys too often.....

All is good in our household, loving every minute of our visit....

Happy eating.............

Almost forgot....Terry hadn't seen my Comfort quilt and was quite impressed...Just in awe as how wonderful my quilting pals are....It was a special time for us, had a good cry and a long talk.....

Good morning,

Mary - had a good chuckle with foxy kitty. I have a print framed in the bathroom of a cat laying on the toilet seat unwinding the roll.

Irish - ooh - texas shet cake - yummy!

Well the corn is on the way - 14 dozen - we are just shucking and freezing on the cob. We want to be done! I am doing the last of the beans now.

Dinner - humm - I have good Caspar's hot dogs and found foot long buns - that should work!

Enjoy,
Jana

Hello everyone,Been quite a day here.Sunny & a warm day.
Our Young man weed eat for us.DH carries him water on his lawn mower that has 3 hrs on it.When he started back to house it would not go.I pulled it to house with car.he calls Lowes & gets info on repair. It is under warranty.goes back out & it cranks. Now he has no confidence in it.Three months old.

Irish Know you are going to miss them when they leave.

Mary' z Sure you will be glad to see Home.Even thought it is nice to leave I always love getting home.Your Foxy must be getting enough traveling.

Jana I used to get so worn out doing corn as I would do that much alone.

Yesterday we had pizza & salad. With the young man here I made him burgers & BPotatos.Green beans & brownies & ice cream. Becca
