Supper club, Aug, 7th, Friday......
Good morning from yet another gorgeous, purrrrfect day in SW. Pa...Great temps, low humidity, sunny skies and a gentle breeze...You all should come and visit, it's wonderful.....(Well, don't come this week, my "inn" is full, lol)...
The township is working on the main street and all the traffic is now coming up around our bend and it's been very interesting...Watching cars trying to "beat" another coming in the other direction is funny. I told Nick he should be out there directing traffic and charging a fee.......
Terry and the boys will be here until at least next Tuesday, much to his dismay but I'm loving every minute of it....I do feel bad because he's not been able to do everything he wanted to do but having them here has been a joy....Yesterday, I asked Nick if he liked using a chain saw and boy did we do some trimming...After awhile, the rest of the guys couldn't stand it and had to come out and join us...Last night, Dan picked up our car (his is getting tires today) so today, we're "carless"...But, we do have 3 huge mountain bikes parked in the garage if anyone needs to go anywhere, lol.....I wonder if they come with training wheels......I so wish, these guys lived closer but, and I know this is terrible to say, I don't think I could put up with DIL.....But, I'll savor every minute they are here.....
I got my new iron so might do a little pressing today along with mending some things for the boys...And my gardener might want to do some more trimming.....
As for dinner (supper) it could be the "mac n cheese"/noodle casserole, it could be "mac n cheese" and pierogies, or it might be grilled cheese and fresh corn...I did buy cookies but really need to get something baked....
So that's the excitement happening in my neighborhood...Enjoying the weather and watching cars go by......
What exciting things are happening in your's????And what is going to appear on your table?
Happy eating...................

I just had my computer do some strange things. I was in the middle of my message and suddenly, I was back to the Home page and lost my whole message. Then DH keeps talking to me and I can't remember what I was typing. Oh, gosh!!!
Well, today was a "To Do List" kind of day!! I got the RV cleaned! Grass mowed. Dog got a bath, Then ME got a shower. Added a pedicure for Willy. and now, I AM TIRED!!!
So it will be an easy supper. Brat, Chips, pickles. and some canned peaches for dessert.
Hope you all have a great Friday evening.

Ah, Irish, we think alike⦠Iām making the āmac ān cheeseā casserole here with sliced tomatoes and watermelon and cantaloupe. I was busy making my girlie baby bibs for the shower DD needs them for next month or before.
I thought this was āTHEā DIL⦠sigh! Know you wish the guys were closer⦠Sounds like you are having a good time exceptā¦
Velāwhen that happens, try Control Z. Sometimes it works for me when I accidentally hit something.
IzzyāI need to lose A LOT, but it doesnāt seem to happen. I like to freeze mine on the cob, too, but not this year. DS1 puts his in cardboard boxes in the freezer⦠shucks and all, then grills it in husks or shucks it and cooks it.
Becca--I used to freeze my corn on the cob with super luck, but I needed more freezer space, so I cut it off this year. I blanch it in the microwave as Iām cutting more off the cobs.
