Supper club, Aug. 2nd, Sunday......

Good afternoon from sunny, warm, wonderful, Sw. Pa.....Where is everyone??? Did you all go on vacation and not tell me????

WELL, you are not going to believe what's been happening around here....1st, the boys are here! But, getting here was not a fun trip...They got within 100 miles and the water pump went in the car...After calling AAA and waiting for the tow truck to bring them "home" it was close to 2:00 AM by the time they finally walked through the door...And then after all the hugs, it took another hour to settle down and go to bed...Getting up for Mass this morning was not an easy task but, Mass and then on to breakfast and Aldi...Not, DS is replacing the water pump and hopefully, things will be back in working order...But, he said, how lucky he was, had just updated his AAA membership and had free towing for 100 miles and that just brought him home....Lots of things planned for the week and I'm sure it will go much too quickly....
And my "baby" Nicky is well over 6ft. tall, has contacts and is so darn grown up...This shouldn't be allowed....

Not sure what all is on our menu...We did stop at a Farmer's market and got fresh corn so I have an idea, there will be something on the grill to go with the corn....

So, what are you making, reservations???

Ah, Irish... I was waiting for you to set the table... My favorite thing to make for dinner is reservations. Alas, nothing around here takes reservations, so it's almost always dinner at the Home Cafe. It was Home Steakhouse last night. DH had a steak and baked potato, and I had some left-over chicken fajitas. Tonight, he will have a re-run of the steak and potato, and I think I'll have a salad with tuna on it.

Wow--that was some trip last night! How fortunate he re-upped his AAA and had good towing service, even if they had to wait on the truck. You are good to get up and to to mass after all the nocturnal activity! I know you will serve up a great grill dinner!

Irish - so good to have them there safe and sound. Prayers by a grandmother were answered.

Chickie - the Home Cafe and Steakhouse is a wonderful chain ! We have one here too!

Dinner - got some ribs - can you tell I love ribs? Will add a macaroni salad as well.

I finally decided on supper we're having pork tenderloins and zucchini it's very hot here so I'm trying to keep it simple
