SUPPER CLUB - Friday, July 10th

Good Morning!

Well, this is my last day here for a while. no phone or internet while in Canada, and it will be sporadic in Alaska. We'll be home end of August. I hope you all don't lose weight while I'm gone! I know I won't! lol!!

TINA - hope the tacos were yummy! They sound good to me!

CHICKIE - I'm thinking I know just how your mom and teachers felt while you were growing up! lol!

IRISH - so happy to hear you are going to Reno! Sorry it has to be by 'crook' instead of by 'hook' but needs must! They have Row By Row patterns there, you know. Just sayin' . . . .

BECCA - We try to eat our big meal during the day. but it rarely happens. Much healthier way of eating! What kind of ferns to you have? I let the bracken do what they want, but I cut my sword ferns back every winter. Keeps them in control and vibrant green when they come up again the next spring.

JANA - that ravioli sounds purrfect for RV cooking! And Italian is our favorite!

Tonite we are eating out at a Mexican restaurant with friends as a bon voyage party. They are going on their Alaskan cruise while we'll be driving the highway. This afternoon, I'm cooking up the last few potatoes with some onions. Potatoes can't be taken across the border, so now they'll be "leftovers". I'll add something to them - perhaps browned hamburger? - and it will be our first night's meal in camp, which will be someplace north of Hope, B.C.

Now don't you all hold supper for me! It might be a while!!

Have a great trip!!! I'll behave much of the time... promise!!! Did you get the fur babies rounded up? We are going to the 4-H fair to see the kids show their pigs. It reminds me of herding huge cats.

Mary We have Boston,maiden hair ,one Lacey one I do not know name & one that looks artificial it is so neat.I will google & try to identify the really rare one.
