Supper club, June 23, Tuesday..............

Good morning from another warm, partly sunny Sw. Pa....Not sure if it's going to be a sunny, sunny day or maybe we'll get some rain...
I was talking to Kathy last night and she said, it is very warm but bone dry out there with the humidity at about 2...I think it's time to start digging those trenches and send our extra water westward....

Today is starting out really slow...I slept in until 8:00 and really haven't done a thing since, except read the paper and brush the cats...This might be a day to run errands and then visit with my sister and her hubby....I'll bet if I ask, they might even want to do lunch..........

Kathy has finally made her plans to come east and will be getting here on my birthday in August...Then she's planning on a few days at the beach for her kids and their boy/girl friends...That is after she gets together with Cari and they go wedding dress shopping and trying on and all that good stuff...Poor Dan said, he's ready for the beach but not all that girly stuff thrown in....Would love to join them but don't think I can leave Jim but we'll see....

As far as tonight's dinner, once again, that's up in the air...If we go to lunch, dinner will be something light but if we're home, those pork chops that were thought about might happen....And if I'm hope, I really do need to bake, maybe an apple pie, which Jim would love.....

Irish, beach and wedding shopping, I think you should go! I vote out for lunch too Sounds like you'll be having a fun day today and on your birthday get as much in as you can for your birthday, make it a huge celebration! Fun, fun
I had salad for breakfast, and I'm eating salad for lunch and tonight is supper at DD's she said either chicken enchilada casserole or chicken tacos and salad and we're watching Pretty Little Liars I've been working on backings today, a little warm for it became we've been in the 100's, yesterday was 111* nasty! Even my furrkids didn't want to do anything, it was too hot to play.....they all looked croaked until after 8 last night when it made it down to 100.

Good afternoon!

We are also doing a slow roast here! Not quite as bad as Tina, but close.

Of all things, DH wants his tortilla soup for tonight. So that is what we will have.

Irish - oh, the beach, beach food and shopping - doesn't get any better than that! Then add in Kathy - well that tops it! The ocean is one of the few things I miss since moving here to the desert. In high school, we were about 30 minutes from the ocean and would cut school and spend the day there. Shame on me! But oh so fun!

My DD invited us to beach for 2 was & I sure would love to go but DH could never ride that far.Know it would help my sinuses.

Well it was green beans ,potatos and chicken breast grilled.We had fresh peaches our DDIL brought us.She brought 1/2 bushel.I am checking them each day and peeling the ripe ones.Yum. Becca

Hi pals.

I am late, very late today!!! We are having left over chops tonight and I think I will bring out a box of Mac n Cheese ( the real Mac n Cheese) LOL.

It's another hot day here. I hate to cook when it's hot!!
