Good morning, Mary! Your dinner sounds fabulous! We were eating very well here last week with DGD planning the menus and making way too many dessert goodies. This week will be back to my fare. I’m going to do a steak tonight for DH… a belated Father’s Day supper. My kitchen was closed last evening after all the cooking for the big brunch yesterday morning.

We had two fawns across the pond yesterday while everyone was on the deck having brunch.

Enjoy!

Good late morning from a very sunny, getting warmer, SW. Pa....It is finally summer, here in the east...Some might not welcome the heat but I think it's purrrrfect.....

Mary, so glad to see you set our camp site table today....I've been thinking about you and hoping your travels are safe and happy..Sounds like Betsy is doing well, truly sounds like a miracle....Also, sounds like you guys will be eating very well...Enjoy every minute....

Chickie, don't you just love to see those babies? Mother Nature does provide us with some great sights....My kitchen was kind of closed yesterday also but only because we did all the cooking outside....

Now, as far as our dinner today, almost a repeat of yesterday....Left over macaroni salad, a few baked beans and if Jim had a hot dog yesterday, maybe today he'll have a burger....Gee, sounds like the kitchen might be closed again today....I was thinking of baking but why spoil this little trend I have going.....

And once again, our Pirates lost, big time....Oh well, you can't win em all, but this is now 3 bad ones in a row...I might have to have a long, hard talk with these guys.....

Happy eating.................

Good morning,

Mary - you dinner willbe delish! I could have just the corn - nothing better than fresh corn on the cob.

Chickie - then add your jam - doesn't get better than that! Sorry about all the bites - does bug spray with deet work?

Beautiful day here - we are heating up again - over 100 in a couple of days. So hiding in the Batt Cave is a good thing. Dinner will be either a chef salad or something on the grill after it cools off in the evening. Cooling off in the evening means that we have dropped into the 80's - LOL

Enjoy,
Jana

Mary, sounds like you're really enjoying your trip :o) Mmmmmmm corn on the cob, so yummy!
Chickie, I love watching the deer, we don't get them as often as we used to when the farm was being farmed but every once in a blue moon we will.
Irish, your supper yesterday and today sound pretty much like ours was Saturday and Sunday :o) sure is nice to not cook for a couple days I think :o) we still have a few leftovers and I'm debating if we should throw a burger on the grill and finish off those leftovers or if I should do new food......
Jana, evening cooling off here aren't working out so well, last night at 8 it was 100*! We were 110* yesterday, ugh I really think I'm wilted!
Becca, I hope you find time for a nap today.
I hope I do too! :o) LOL This heat is just crazy!

Boneless Chops on the grill tonight. It's so sticky and HOT here. But nice that it did not rain today. Got the boat launched, in the boat slip and ready to go out "mac n chees'n" at the crack of dawn tomorrow.
So I won't be in here until late, again.
