SUPPER CLUB - Sat, June 13th
Posted: Sat Jun 13, 2015 3:50 am
Good Morning!
I guess I never made it here at all yesterday! I do remember at one point saying to Bill, "I have to do Supper Club." I was running from 7am until 10pm last night. Maybe that's why I slept late this morning and feel groggy! Couldn't have been the wine we drank! could it??
Today should be much calmer. A little yard work, a few uglies, and some quilting on the last quilt in the quilting queue. I'm doing it freehand.
IRISH - what a great gift! I bet Jim ooh'd and ahhh's over that box! Yes - see I DO go back and read what I missed, you naughty girl!! Time-out for you!
TINA - your pizza sounds delish. And you DO need to have a carrying agent to transfer all those veggies from plate to mouth. Crust solves that problem! Yum!
LORI - calzones again?? I'm coming to your house! I love them!
JANA - you get to join Irish in the corner!
BECCA - what an awful accident to happen to your son! I guess for such a reason, liver would be OK, but it makes me shiver. Get it? Liver shiver . . .(((( ))))) - oh well - it's early. The best I can do for now. I did a double take when I read your neighbors. . .came from FL. That's a long backyard fence!
CHICKIE - having fun with your DGD! Hope those tornado warnings don't come any closer!
Well, I'm not cooking tonite! DH is going to go over to his brother's and they will feed him (I'm assuming!). So no cooking here! I cooked enough yesterday so I deserve a break. Though when it came time to put the burgers on the grill (remember, we had two other couples for a BBQ) it came to light that I'd forgotten to thaw the burgers I had pre-made! so dinner was delayed just a little bit - which dried out my baked beans. Oh well.
Have a tasty Saturday!
