My local quilt shop is having an open house this weekend to celebrate the shop being featured in the current issue of:
Better Homes and Gardens special Interest issue of Quilt Sampler





The article is found on page 70. It's so neat to have a small town shop from our own hometown being chosen as one of the top 10 shops in the US.






I just needed to brag a little bit about the wonderful little quilt shop we have here in central Illinois.

I've been looking for the magazine... Is it on the newsstands now?

Congratulations to your shop, Vel!!! Thanks for making the article personal, too! I can think of you in the shop and feel I know you better.

I'd love to visit all the shops that have been featured... have been to just a few. My mom loves that magazine and "travels" as she looks through it. I've even made a quilt or two or three from it. I'll keep looking for the magazine.

Well now I'm going to have to go see it in person. Lol. Lori

People were grabbing the magazines right and left. I got my copy autographed, so I will be keeping it as a treasure.

Lots of great quilt patterns in this issue. More future quilts to dream about.

I think the magazine must be out on the newstand now. Inside the cover, they said they made two different covers for this issue. They are running a contest on which one will be more popular. We can go online to vote. Guess I will have to do that.
