SUPPER CLUB - Fri, May 1st - May Day!

Happy May Day! I hope there's flowers in your day, even if you have to stroll down the road to stop and smell them!
IRISH - how good to have you back amongst the eating! So sorry to hear of your BIL's complications. Sounds like your support role isn't over yet. I'm sure your sister is very grateful to have you standing by. you must both be exhausted. If I had a cooking fairy, I'd be sending her over to your house in a flash, but we all know there's no fairies in MY kitchen!
TINA - I can almost smell all your flowers! And that banned food!! You really need to look the word "banned" up in the dictionary. you don't seem to be grasping the meaning of the word!
GENERAL LADY CAROL - a netful of knaves. When I think about that, I'm not really sure what a 'knave' is! Guess I better get out my own dictionary! I think a 'sentence' of judges is purrfect!
BECCA - what are spring onions? I know regular onions, sweet onions, green onions, scallions, and shallots. But I've never heard of spring onions until - well - until this spring! And only here in Supper club.
CHICKIE - so how was the turnip? lol!
JANA - I might consider a second wife here if she would do all the uglies, the yard work, and the laundry, so I could just sew . . . .
JOANNE - Do you even need to read the menu when you go to Mama's Grill? lol!
Last night my fickle DH changed the pasta menu to BBQ'd chicken and when the chicken didn't thaw fast enough, he changed it again to burgers. His was beef and mine was the Black Bean veggie burgers from Costco. So tonite, we'll toss the chicken on the BBQ. Maybe some packet potatoes/onions/cheese, and a salad. Should be a nice evening to eat out on the deck. I'll pop the chicken into a big Ziplock with some olive oil, garlic, and lemon or lime juice to marinate this afternoon.
What's hitting the plate at your house tonite?
