SUPPER CLUB - Tues, April 21st
Good Morning!
Riley had a happy birthday. She got special treats and extra lap time. Now she's old enough to drive! and according to my parents' rules, she's finally old enough to date, too. She was an excited kitty! My DDIL texted that my son's cat (Riley's sister) was getting the same treatment.
LADY CAROL - the things we do for our babies! But if it involves sewing, my kids know they can get me to do anything! lol!
JOANNE - I'm having trouble picturing roasted bologna and dressing. But I do remember frying it years ago. I'd forgotten about that.
IRISH - if you ever come to visit me, I'll be sure to save you a weed-ridden flowerbed! lol!!
TINA - don't worry, as long as Irish doesn't get hoggish, there will be enough flower beds to go around!
JANA - those biscuits sound mouth-watering. But then, you had me at CHEESE!
Bob and Bill flipped the axles on Bob's trailer yesterday (doesn't that sound no more difficult than flipping a mattress? Not so, they tell me!). So he and Betsy are going to make another attempt to get away this morning. Not sure now what we can do to get them to stay. I showed them all the yard work there is still left to do . . .
My day will be a few uglies, some sewing, and a massage. Between our winter travels, my being sick, and an emergency in my therapist's family, I am WAY behind in massages. My arthritic neck and back have been anxiously awaiting this day!
For supper we are set. We have leftover everything - potatoes, chicken, roasted veggies, biscuits, and cake. No one will be kidnapping me!!

I didn't know that your son had Riley's sister, how cool is that Mary
Do they bring her when they come visit? What color is she?
Last night I was on my own for supper so I just had forbidden food
I had laid out pork chops but Frankie forgot he had a class on AC to go to and they feed him so pork chops are on the menu for here tonight, along with a half of a baked sweet potato and salad
I didn't get my mowing done last night because of him being gone and he has to fiddle with the riding mower to get it started, he says he needs to work on something on it but hasn't yet.....I like it better when I can just go do things without help. Oh well, tonight will be mowing.

Good morning! I couldn’t post here yesterday. QIAD kept giving me error messages, yet I could post on photos and Sew In. Must have been something I said??? No one would want to kidnap me at my age and size unless they needed a cook, laundress and reluctant housekeeper... I hate housework!
For tonight… I have a bunch of fresh asparagus, and I have ham… There are also some small potatoes and salad makings… I’ll come up with something.
Oh, and I have some left over cheddar bay biscuits… mmmmmm! I think I’ll have one for brunch! They were sooooooo yummy last night with ham and beans.
Happy eating!
P.S. They changed our driver age to 17 here for an unrestricted license. You can get a learner's permit/restricted at 14.

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Tues, April 21st
Good morning from sunny, but chilly, SW. Pa....It really is a gorgeous day but a little too chilly for me, so inside uglies are taking up my time...
Mary, that is so neat that Riley's sister is in the family...I'd say a couple of very lucky fur kids....Our Nick will be 16 next month and he was able to get his permit at 15..But, I think for a couple of years, they have to have an adult with them, but not sure...Our oldest DGS was driving his Dad's dump truck and paver when he was 10 and actually working with his Dad....But, I would say, if Riley does decide to drive, better go with her and then if she wants to date, well, that's a whole different game.....
I have decided, I want to live somewhere, when it's time to put away the winter clothes you only have to decide on which of your 3 sweatshirts you need to keep out in case it might get chilly...This filling bins with winter stuff and then getting summer stuff out is for the birds...And then of course I always have help...More than once Baylee has almost gotten packed away...And along with that, I changed sheets and once again, had help...Always end up with a huge moving lump in the middle of the bed...
Jim is trying to mow the grass...Our mower had to go to the hospital and he had to borrow one...Right now, I see he and a neighbor are kind of shooting the breeze, solving all the problems of the world....
I'm thinking for our dinner, we might have chicken...If not, when we shopped, I did get some bologna and I might try Joanne's dinner...Or it could be a scrambler....Possibilities are endless!
Happy eating..........

Good morning,
I think something easy will appear tonight - banned cassarole with lots of cheese, but first I have to get some eggs from my grandchicks! I am out and I know there are plenty at Sarah's.
Not much going on here - let's hope it stays that way.
Enjoy,
Jana
