SUPPER CLUB - April Fool's Day

Good Morning! Seen any good pranks this morning? I'm going easy on my DH this year in hopes he does the same to me!
Glad you all thought my chops sounded tasty the other day. I sometimes use apricots or plums in that sauce. And I use it for chicken a lot, too. Goes great served with rice.
TINA - surprise!! Easter is, indeed, this Sunday. I think it's catching everyone off guard. Who is "everyone" that is coming to dinner at your house? and what are smooth burritos? Layered in a casserole is all I can think of, rather than rolled up. You are such a good cook, I know it will be tasty!
JO - it's sometimes bittersweet to see our own traditions taken on by the younger generations. Deviled eggs are one of my favorites! Unless, like happened once, I bite into one and it has SALMON in it! YUCK!!
CHICKIE - if I know you, you served a wonderful supper to Teresa and Rob and now have lots of yummy leftovers!
IRISH - so sorry about your eagles if tears need to be shed. They are such majestic creatures. My friend lives on waterfront not far from us and most years she has a nest in an old snag visible from her deck. Sorry you will be painting. I was hoping you meant a picture, but when you said Jim said, "use latex", I was fairly certain it's a room. We did all ours in September. Ugh! and I see I've got my sewing room already all marked up again! Sigh.
BECCA - you're right! It's a real priviledge to get to see eagles soaring!
LADY CAROL - your weather sounds too attention-getting for me! Sorry you didn't get to go out in your caravan, but a bit of the fun gets dampened if you are stuck inside the entire time.
CAROL 7 - haha! Don't be impressed by a sudden supper at MY house! I thawed another chop in the micro, threw some more potatoes in the pot, and opened a second can of green beans. I keep bacon bits in the fridge (God Bless Costco) so I fancied the green beans with a few of those and some minced onion. They tasted like my mom's. No bread and no dessert. I have to tell you, that we still use your brine recipe for pork roasts. sure makes a difference!
I'm not sure about tonite. As usual, when I start this thread. I have 1/2 chop left, a dab of potatoes, and a few beans. I might make new food . . That could be meatloaf and baked potatoes. I saw a thing on FB a few weeks ago and the meatloaf was cooked in a bundt pan and the mashed pottoes were mounded inside the ring. Made a cool presentation! It looks fancy, but it was just plain old meatloaf.
Are you eating fancy tonite?
