SUPPER CLUB - Fri, March 20th

Good Morning!
The first day of spring. I'm sure it's a very welcome day in a huge part of the country! It's also my oldest brother's 80th birthday. He's dragging us all (there are 6 of us siblings) into a new decade. He's 16 yrs older than I am. he's the only one of us still working! And he's a trucker in Alaska!
JANA - when you share photos of your new kitchen, we want to see your new dishes, too, please!
BECCA - your strawberries sound so delicious! usually, when I buy them, we just eat them like candy! I like veggie burgers, too. I get the Black Bean burgers from the frozen dept. at Costco.
JO - I just can't get interested in basketball. I think it's more fun when you see it live.
TINA - you know, there is pasta made from brown rice. It's very good and doesn't taste much different from regular pasta. and it's on your diet . . . just sayin' . . .
IRISH - poor Jim! Bingo during his BB game! You need a DVR. We DVR all our favorite shows. We sometimes even DVR the news and then we can Fast Forward thru all the commercials. And you never miss a game! And it's not expensive . . .
CAROL - is everyone healthy at your house again? I'm still coughing, but I did sleep through the night last night - in bed (not on the couch or in a chair) - and no PM meds! I keep trying the humidifier and it works on my chest congestion, but it makes my throat sore, so I keep shutting it off.
Well I posted in the Sew-in that I was putting pork chops in the crockpot, but then remembered it's Friday and Lent. So it will be quiche, I think. Or poached eggs. Tomorrow night we're going to friends for supper and on Sunday, to my DD's. So the chops will be put on hold for a while.
I hope you all can rustle up something at your house to keep your tummies from growling!
