SUPPER CLUB - Wed, March 11th
Good Morning,
Still sick here. In fact it hit me hard between 7 and 8pm last night. The room was 75* and I was shivering under 3 quilts, with my mattress warmer turned up to HI and my fleece robe and fleece sox on. But after a few hours the chills went away. So did the sleep.
JANA - prayers for your DDIL and her gall bladder. I hope she's not in much pain.
IRISH - a spa sounds pretty good right now! Especially with you there stroking my fevered brow! ;o)
LADY CAROL - so nice to have you back amongst the eating! I sure hope you get your bus bacck!
BECCA - Maybe we should all make some soup and keep a container back just in case we get sick. I just can't handle canned soups after having homemade. Glad you got your car back, but sorry for the $$ ouchie.
TINA - I'm actually with Frankie on Spam - now. I made the mistake once of reading the ingredients!
CHICKIE - actually, Ramen sounds pretty good right now!
We still have half of our meatloaf left from last night, so we might have that with potatoes or stuffing - DH's choice. Also, we have salad fixings and fresh brussels sprouts. No one will starve here!
How's supper looking at your house?

Good early afternoon from still damp, semi dreary, SW. Pa...But, it's warming up, not quite enough to hang the sheets out but hopefully going in the right direction.....
Oh Mary, Quick, I'll make reservations...I know of a place near Napa that would be purrrrfect...Quant little Inn, great food and warm mineral spas to take care of anything and everything....Of course we'd have to pick up Kathy on the way...I'm not allowed to go there without her....But, sure hope you're feeling better soon...I think the idea of keeping home made soup in the freezer would be a good "puny" prevention....
Tina, I'm not like Frankie and Mary, I've never read the ingredients, (afraid to)...But, I do rank it about the same as bologna...In fact, I just had a bologna sandwich for lunch, not bad.....
Becca, really hate to hear about car problems and of course the costs...Your car wasn't one of the lucky ones on the recall list, was it? Our's needed to go in for something about the ignition but thank goodness we didn't have to pay....Hope DH is feeling better...I worry about your 2.....
Not sure what might appear on our table tonight...I was thinking, maybe something with chicken but then you never know....I could always give Jim another bologna sandwich and a bottle of Ensure...Now there's a super, duper dinner.....(and you know what, he wouldn't complain)......
Happy eating...........

Aw, Mary, so sad that you are sick! Alot of flu going around lately (fingers crossed!) Hope you feel better soon.
Irish, there is warmth and SUN here today...hopefully you will get it tomorrow! If I had the notion I could hang out sheets today..lol
Went to the Rheumatologist yesterday for my 6 mo....he drained my knee and I believe he shot it with cortizone...does cortizone travel throughout the body??? Cause today and part of yesterday I have almost no joint pain! He told me that my knee might hurt so to take Tylenol so I took a couple of x-strength and at first thought that that was helping the pain, but it doesn't last THAT long..lol!
We had our taxes done this morning so we had breakfast at Mama's Grill..so tonight Earl says soup, so it will be the leftover chili I guess.

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Wed, March 11th
I am late posting this today. Sorry, But I guess I am going to fix a "breakfast" supper tonight.
We were going to go out to eat with our friend. It just didn't warm up today, like they predicted. So we postponed until tomorrow night.
Didn't have anything lined up to fix, so this will be a hurry up meal.
We both like the breakfast for supper idea, so it will work.
You all enjoy your night!!!
