Gavin is at it Again

Well ladies as you can imagine I am busy with my really busy with my Go big have decided that this year was for getting rid of scraps and finishing unfinished projects. So I am working on a different quilt everyday. So that is seven different quilts. Hoping to be finished by the end of March. When in walks Gavin. He tells me about one of his teachers whose daughter has a rare skin disease, that effects the organs. One in 3,000,000 million people gets this disease. Grammy, my friends and I are trying to arrange a spirit week at school. I was wondering if you would help my make a quilt for her. So the last three days I have been getting up at 2 o'clock in the morning so I can get my projects worked on so I can have time to help him. The life of a quilter is never dull.

Oh My, you are one busy lady these days. Seven diff quilts, and you are working on all of them!!!!! Sometimes I am up at 2 but not by choice, just can't sleep or cat wants out or something. But I would never work on a quilt that time of day. Too sleepy to even think let alone sew.

God bless that dear sweet Gavin. Wish all young people were as thoughtful and kind and generous as he is. You must be so proud of him. He has already touched so many lives. Can't even imagine what he will become as he gets older.

He certainly loves you, and it is nice that he asks for your help. God bless you for being such a wonderful teacher that he can quilt for others with your guidance and help.

Thank you for posting. I was thinking about both of you the other day and wondered what you were up to. Now I know......too busy to even post. Give Gavin a big hug and tell him thank you for the way he has inspired all of us and so many others with his thoughtful gifts of love and caring.
