Happy Weekend!

Hope you all are starting to warm up a little! Last time I visited my brother in North Pole, AK it was -40*. My sis and I were there for 3 days and we ran outside long enough to take pictures of each other and ran back in. Our nose hairs froze!

JANA - I think Perry and you need a "coming-to-God" discussion about mice! lol! And if you've got a hankering to cook, I bet you could find someone in your family that would be happy to 'let' you come to their house and cook your mama's heart out!

JOANNE - Well, I'm not sure if I should hope you get to go out to Mama's Grill or not because, Baby, it's cold outside!

IRISH - I don't think I'd call our Mexican food TRULY Mexican! In fact, I probably wouldn't like true Mexican food. I like Americanized Mexican food.

Tonite's feast will be grilled burgers on whole wheat buns with cottage cheese on the side. It almost sounds healthy, but that's merely accidental! lol!

Good morning,

Dinner is at Matt' tonight and tomorrow. Tonight is Sarah's husband's 40th BD, so she is doing a surprise at Matt's. Lots of snicky snacks to munch on. Tomorrow, Matt is cooking a pork roast for dinner.

I made the spinach dip for tonight. My temp kitchen can handle that - chopping and stirring, no cooking! LOL

Just getting uglies caught up and spring cleaning started. With all the cabinets in the kitchen empty, makes it easy to clean all the drawers and such. Plus I need to get rid of all the sawdust! Spring is coming, all of my daffodils and tulips in the front planter have popped up.

Enjoy!
Jana

Good afternoon from Sw. Pa...Not going to tell you how much snow or how cold it is but it's not nice.....

Mary, my sister had been to Alaska and had gone to the North Pole, not her favorite place to visit..Although she did say, Alaska as a whole was one of her best trips....More and more, I have a feeling, I'd like your Americanized Mexican food...One of these days....And, gotta tell you, I fell asleep thinking of the "pleasure and misery" of camping and a dog named Stranger.....Oh my what a book.....

All your dinners sound delish....I'm not cooking (again)..Jim is going to a surprise birthday party for his best Notre Dame buddy and will be eating there so I'm off the hook....Might be cup of tea and a cinnamon roll for me.....

Happy eating...................
