SUPPER CLUB - Mon, Feb 9th

Well, it's raining again. We had a nice window yesterday and I got out and planted a flat of colorful primroses in pots by my front door. They are probably getting beat down this morning.
Yesterday I finished my monkey baby quilt top. It was a quick one and this morning I'll piece the back and see if DH can be persuaded to dust off the quilting machine. I think my St. Pat's quilt is next.
JANA - Today's the day!! New kitchen! how did the shower go? Was Mama surprised or did she know what you and Sarah were doing?
CHICKIE - we had chops last night, too. Your day yesterday sounds idyllic. Even with the cows out. Though that can be a headache. I remember as a kid, getting those calls - "your cows are out!" and then we had a round-up. I thought it was fun. Daddy - not so much. lol!
RHONDA - 100" of snow?!?! I'm only 60" myself! You must have tunnels to get out of your house! But a quiche is nice . . .
BECCA - On Sat we weren't riding the entire 12 hours. Otherwise my backside would be pretty sore! Only about 4 or 5 hours were spent in the seats, broken up a lot by 10 stops along the way. No quilts shops, unfortunately. But it was still a very long day.
JOANNE - how was your weekend? Hope you didn't go hungry!
ABITA - yoo hoo!! Where are you , girl?
IRISH - I hope you conquered that lasagna! I keep looking at the weather map of the east and looks like NY and New England are dragging you along with it! Kinda glad my grandpa moved from there in 1902.
Tonite's menu will depend on if I go to the store or not. I'm in the mood for split pea soup but have no dried peas. I still have my kielbasa which I use in the soup. My back-up plan is a skillet supper with onions, potatoes, eggs, and the kielbasa. One way or another that sausage is a goner today!
What sounds good at YOUR house today?
