SUPPER CLUB - The Day After - sniffle
Well, that game was looking pretty good there for a while. Until, as Chickie said, it wasn't. RATZLEFRATZ!! That last play just didn't pan out for them. But congrats to the Patriots and all their fans. What a great team they are!
IRISH - no wonder with children like you, your mom went grey early! Your stories compare only with my own mom's! Even as a kid I shuddered at the stunts she pulled off!
CHICKIE - you sent me a site for (ugh) monkeys but I've looked through all my "communication avenues" and can't find it anywhere. Can you either send it again or tell me how you sent it to me? Text, e-mail, forum post in ?? section. In the meantime I'll try Googling monkey quilts. Though why anyone would want monkeys when they could have cats is beyond me!
We have a lot of extra food leftover for tonite so it's going to be more brats, potato salad, fruit salad, beans, kraut, and apple pie. Not sure how much of it will get past DH's lunchtime, but whatever is still there come 6pm will be supper!
What is steaming up your kitchen windows tonite?

MaryZ—are you wearing black arm bands today? So sorry for the loss! I take full responsibility.
The little monkey quilt was at www.patchworkpottery.blogspot.com. The pattern she used was one little monkey, and it was very cute. She did a couple of monkey quilts, but this would be cute for a little girl—especially if the appliqué had maybe a lace pinafore over the little shoulders. A kitty quilt would be especially sweet—too bad you can’t change their décor.
We had tacos last night, and I have plenty left for this evening. I made some killer guacamole, and I’m the only one who eats it.
Enjoy!

Good afternoon from the home of that famous ground hog, Phil...You know the one that had the nerve to predict another 6 weeks of winter! I had heard earlier, Phil used his cell phone to call in the prediction, too cold to come out.....
Oh Mary, 1 little play sure can mess up a good game....Still can't believe it happened...Isn't this what the Sea Hawks did to GreenBay a couple of weeks ago??? Oh well, next year it will be the Steelers and your Hawks......I agree, kittens would be much better than monkeys....Did you see the Kitten Bowl?
Joanne, your weather must be a tad better than our's...There is no way I'd even think of going out, even for a good dinner.....Be careful, stay warm.....
Chickie, you too, stay warm...I haven't had a taco for so long, will have to change that, soon....
Tina, right now, I'd love to have a really, really good burger....Did you do your's on the grill? Burger, lettuce, tomato, mouth watering!
Well, our dinner isn't going to be that mouth watering...The frig is just about empty so I'm thinking, hot ham and cheese sandwiches and soup....Might, (that being the word), make some stuffed pepper soup...And that should steam up our windows.......
Happy eating.............

We are having left over spaghetti. Good thing I don't have to cook. I was sewing all afternoon on the lotto blocks. I had to frog one of them. All done and pressing and found that I didn't have a star in the middle. DAH, I had a square. Oh, darn, I had my flying geese flying backwards.
So my table is still full of sewing machine , cutting mat, and notions all over the place. Threads and snippets all over the floor. Guess I better go and get it all cleaned up and put away for dinner.
We were rooting for the Seahawks, too. Boy, it looked like they were going to pull it off. Just a darn shame,'cause they are really a good team. I sure did not like the half time show. All over TV, they all say that it's the best ever. Well, I thought it was the worst ever.
Just my opinion, but didn't like it. Many of the commercials were terrible, too. Ooops, maybe it's just that I am too OLD. LOL.
Couldn't be that, now, could it???? LOL
Hugs to all
