Good morning! It's gloomy here, and I think soup sounds great. I found a soup bone in the freezer and I've started with the basics in a roaster pan in the oven. As the day progresses, so will the soup... barley, veggies, tomatoes... right now, I have lots of savory stuff to make everything smell good all day as the stock brews. Cornbread will be the "side".
What's on your table tonight?

Good afternoon from semi sunny, partly gloomy (lol), SW. Pa....Just not sure what the weather is trying to tell us...Yesterday, we had snow, the expert weatherman said more snow but now the snow is gone...Oh well, we have no control....
I guess Mary is still out there wondering through the desert and having a wonderful time......She should write a book on her travels....
Chickie, I can imagine your kitchen is smelling so good right about now....I love to have things cooking like that and then keep adding more goodies.....
Jim left to help with elderly bingo and it's all quiet on the homefront....I'm finally mixing up those cinnamon rolls I had planned on making the other day....And for dinner, I think I'll make chicken pot pie....We've had quite a bit of chicken this week but so far, we haven't sprouted feathers so I guess we're safe with one more meal.....It's either that or a banned food....Wonder if I could sneak in one "mac n cheese" while the "chief cat" is away.........
Happy eating...............
