SUPPER CLUB - Thurs, Jan 15th

Post by purrfect-lady » Thu Jan 15, 2015 3:32 am

Can you believe January is half over already?? We'll probably have crocus in bloom by the time we get home!

Today we are going to the big indoor flea market here in Yuma. My two brothers have given us a shopping list - one wants work gloves and the other wants sox. I want some hemostats and a 'slap watch'. We're going to get propane, swing by the quilt shop, and stop for milk on the way home.

Last night my friend, Esther, made a traditional pot roast supper for us, complete with rolls and chocolate pie. Delish!!

Tonite, we would like to take them out to supper as a thank you for letting us park here for 4 nights. So, our menu will really be off a menu!

Hope your supper plans are coming together!

Re-runs on the pizza here for tonight. I think it was the best pizza I had ever made. I had to hide the rest of it from myself so I didn't eat the whole thing.

Mary--enjoy your dinner! Sounds like you have a fun day planned. Hope you find some great stuff!!!

Good morning from still cold but sunny, Sw. Pa....Winter in SW. Pa is not for sissies.......

Mary, boy, your day sounds full and full of fun things....So lucky to have a friend that will feed you good food AND let you park...And the weather is probably good as well, right????

Well, hope you all enjoyed your pizza, didn't happen in our house....Jim decided to have the left over mashed potatoes, gravy and tiny piece of steak and I had the left over veggies....And for sure, that's it with the left overs...The frig is bare! With Jim going to help with the bingo, our dinner will be a toss up....I'm kind of leaning towards grilled chicken sandwiches and baked potatoes but we'll see......

Happy eating.................

Hello from a now snowing Kentucky.

Really coming down right now, but they are not calling for but around 1/2 inch. I have been working in the binding for DN's braid quilt.

Everyone has talked about pizza so much, it has made me crave it. So tonight's dinner will probably be pizza.

Headed back to sew, hoping to finish the binding.
