Rod Needs your prayers.....in Cardio observation unit at hosp

I posted this over in sew-in but decided to post here too. Never can have too many prayers. Thank you everyone and God bless you today.
................ I had to rush Rod to ER this morning. Severe chest pains. They think it might be a heart attack so holding him in observation for 23 hrs. If they hold him any long they have to admit to hospital and charge us for hosp inpatient services.
Nitroglycerin and some morphine seemed to ease the pain some anyway. I am home for a short time to grab cell phone charger, hearing aid batteries, etc and a bite to eat. EKG in ER didn't look that bad but concerned with all his health problems and just getting over the flu too. The pain just wouldn't let up. He thought heart burn at first but convinced him to go to ER. Drove a little fast and he yelled at me. LOL
Anyway, folks, would appreciate a prayer for him today. He is supposed to smoke a turkey on thur morning. That is what he is mostly worried about and told drs he couldn't stay in hosp. Had to do that turkey. They all laughed but didn't let him go home.
Thank you and God bless you for always being there for me when I need you. Prayers for all of you today too. Hugs and love, Shirley Mae & turkey thinking Rod
ps....His magnesium and potassium were low and glucose was really high...230. He is borderline diabetic but never tested much more than 130 before.
