Good chilly morning! 37* here! Brrrr!! Glad we have our trailer parked in a sheltered spot so the breezes coming off the lake don't get us!

ABITA - I've heard of chuckers. I think there are some in Idaho. So, I missed anything about a new baby. A nephew?

CHICKIE - OK, let me rephrase my question: What is "sriacha"? It's probably something we have in the PNW but just know by another name. Like Helman's mayo is called Best Foods at home. Same company, same product, different name.

IRISH - don't tell Jim this, but last I saw, they do have leaves in FL. and worse - palm fronds! But surprises are fun! Aspercreme worked great for my dad - or maybe not. We found 40 partially used tubes of it in his house after he died. Have you tried Salonpas? It comes in a cream and also in a patch. It works pretty well for me.

JO - Forty is a respectable crowd! I've lost track of how many are in our family if I count up my sibs and all their families. There are some GGKs around the country that I don't think I even know about!

TINA - did you remember what you wanted to tell us?

LEAH - mashed potatoes in any way, any day - BRING 'EM ON! I love them!

Tonite we will have the last of our potato and broccoli salads, baked beans, and DH has requested a grilled pork chop. Time to clean out the fridge! again.

Bon appetit`!

LOL Mary, no I didn't remember :o)
We're having leftover soup tonight, I'm hoping eating soup before TG will help me not gain back any weight, you know I have to eat some pumpkin pie! :o) I'll be off my diet for a couple days because unfortunately I love food! LOL but I will knuckle down again between after and Christmas to hopefully undo any damage :o)

Morning from chilly, semi sunny, but mostly dreary, SW. Pa...Well, spring is gone, winter is returning and that nasty 4 letter word is in the forecast!

Mary, I'll have to check on the Salonpas...My DS gave me the name of her orthopedic man and told me to call...Although she is younger (but bigger), she can be bossy...But, she said, this doctor is very good and most important, he's very good looking....Also said, he's almost worth breaking a leg for! (There are times when I wonder if we're really related)....

Well, our big dinner last night didn't happen...Jim had too much left over pizza for lunch and only wanted left over soup for dinner....So, pizza and soup are gone so maybe, just maybe tonight will be new food......

Happy eating..............

Good morning,

I am on a new diet - it is the See food diet - I see food and eat it! LOL

Dinner tonight is baked chicken with a salad.

I am not prepping TD dinner until Thursday - our dinner is on Friday when all the family will be here. The girls are helping too.

Enjoy,
Jana

Hi, All--

Mary, Sriracha is an Oriental hot sauce--not as vinegary as Tabasco. You find it in the Oriental section of the store. I use it in everything where I want extra "heat". I didn't know Hellmans made Best Foods mayo.

Jana--I've been on that diet since I was born. I can eat whether I'm hungry or not... if I see it, I eat it.

Irish--did you walk in shoes with heels a little higher than what you were used to? That's how I got the worst shin splints I ever had--lots of walking in high heels. Walking down long hills can also produce them.

DH will have steak tonight. We'll probably have a baked sweet potato, and that will be my main course. I'm not sure what else I'll fix. I'm baking rolls for a funeral dinner tomorrow, so I'm sure DH will abscond with at least one or two.

Enjoy!
