SUPPER CLUB - Mon, Nov 17th

Good Morning!
We're 28* this morning. But so far, pretty snug in our trailer. But I'm starting to get a wee bit claustrophobic. I'm going to get out some sewing today and then I'll be happier.
IRISH - Our friend is back!!! So happy to see you here with us. I know your 'normal', whatever that is, will be a while coming, but back in our fold again is a tiny step in that direction. Hugs, my dear friend! and how sweet of you to ask about our BECCA, too. She has been ill, but did post on the sew-in yesterday and said she was starting to feel a bit better.
TINA - I saw your sketches for your fall quilt. First let me say, you are an excellent sketcher! I was impressed. And your quilt will be a stunner when finished! I know the high quality of your sewing. Can't wait to see it!
CHICKIE - I can picture Odie all curled up asleep on Gramma's bed! I bet she loves him. If he were with my mom, you might not get him back! Which is what happened to me once when I left a dog, much like Odie, with my mom for a few weeks. We had to get a new dog for ourselves!
JANA - I like your alternative supper last night - baked potatoes. We like them with chili over the top, and then some sour cream, shredded cheddar, and chopped green onion. a feast!
HONEY - smothered pork chops in gravy sound yummy. and oh so southern!
BECCA - I hope you're feeling a bit better today. Maybe some of Irish's soup is what you need.
We have a cooked chicken breast and some dressing left over from last night. I'm thinking of dicing the meat, adding some veggies and saute'd onion, layering it all, and pouring a cream sauce (aka Cream of chicken or mushroom soup!) over it all and baking it. DH loves leftover casseroles. Hopefully it won't grow too big and become leftover leftovers - again.
Hope you're finding something tasty on your plate tonite!
