Good morning from rainy Kellogg, ID!

We had a rainy day yesterday on I-90 and it looks like today will be more of the same if this morning is any indication. But I'm sure when we get to Mary Q's house it will be all sunshine and roses!

CHICKIE - I'm sorry you had to eat venison last night. But the good news is, it wasn't squirrel! I knew a woman once who was house-sitting for someone, shot a porcupine, and put it in their freezer because she knew they'd want to eat it when they got home. I've always wondered if she skinned it first. But I was too appalled to ask!

JOANNE - I wouldn't like a cold restaurant either!

Tonite, we're going to have the rest of our pizza along with a big veggie salad. Not sure where we'll be when we're eating it, but it will be nice to not have to cook.

Today is eletion day. Don't forget! We voted before we left home.

Hello MARYz & others.Guess everyone is out voting.We did ours this morn.DH had to let me do his ballot.His hand shakes so bad he could not sign his name or vote.I felt bad for him.Tough to see.Sorry the table is not the place for that.

We went on to town & got Subway thinking he may eat it but he left 1/2 of sandwich.Hope your dinner is good whatever it is.LOL Becca

Good Evening All......A dull day with periods of heavy rain....and.... its bl..dy cold.....rather a shock to the system as last week we were chucking off our sweaters as it was so warm....

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:-

MOMENTS COME AND GO......BUT MEMORIES LAST FOREVER......

after my last post....I certainly didn't expect to go off the radar so soon.....but hopefully am back again for a bit longer this time....

The cottage next door to us has recently been sold and the new people asked if the Electric Pole in their garden could be moved.....the cables from this pole feeds a couple of other properties and us....we are the end of the line......so....we have had our front garden and half our drive dug up by the highways dept. and a "mole" put in ready to connect us to another electric source......we are quite happy about this....as it "hopefully" means we wont be getting the power cuts we have been getting.....fingers crossed.....but it will be another 3 or 4 weeks before we are fully re-connected.....I do hope you can follow this.....cos it made my head ache when "they" were trying to explain it all to us......my head is now back together again.....but not sure for how long.......
I am also trying to complete 5 quilts before Christmas.....well actually 2 weeks before....please.....please wish me luck....oh and I nearly forgot.....all that knitting to finish.....but as the babies are not due until January it does give me a bit of breathing space....tomorrow if I am able I will let you know of all the cooking that I need to finish off before the week end.......
