Good Morning!

DH and I were under the weather yesterday. He in the morning for about 3 hours and I through the evening, also for about 3 hours. In between, we had about 3 hours during which we met some of his retiree buds for lunch. I haven't seen him yet this morning, but I'm still not 100%. It COULDN'T have been the leftover leftover casserole I made from leftover leftovers. Could it? lol! No, we think it was a viral thing.

I did get my split pea soup made and we'll have that again tonite - then I'm going to put the rest of it into the trailer freezer.

I hope your supper is tasty and that it doesn't poison you.

DS2 is expected home late this evening, so I thought to have a chicken and sausage gumbo for super. It's one of his favorites and he has not had home cooking since last Sunday. It will be good to have my youngest home. The weather has cooled off here. Last night temp went down into low 40s. Another reason for gumbo. Prayers and hugs to everybody, Abita

Good morning,

Yesterday was my niece's DH 's birthday, so we are celebrating it tonight with dinner at the pizza parlor. All of the family will be there, my other niece's and nephew's families as well. We did it last year too and had lots of fun. With the pizza will be a salad and of course cake!

Mary - so sory you were under the weather - feel better soon.

Abita - always a good time to have everyone home safe and sound with good comfort food.

Enjoy,
Jana
