Not much happening in my neck of the woods and so far today, I'm not even dressed...But, I am meeting the gals for lunch and then want to stop and pick up some groceries (again).....

Jana, boy, your Giants are doing great! Let's hope they go all the way....

And as far as dinner, Poor, poor Jim might have to go without, right! I made a big pot of chili on Sat. and there just might be enough left for Jim's diner tonight...If not, we do have cereal...

Carol--so good to see you! Funny thing about time--I seem to have less in retirement. I wonder if it is because everything takes longer to do now. Or, perhaps it is because I forget what I'm doing and get sidetracked...

Irish--you are so funny! Have fun with the girls. Hope Jim survives. LOL! I'm sure he won't go hungry at your house!

We are going to town to mow a yard at a rental--hopefully for the LAST time this year. I'm not sure what's on tap for dinner tonight. There are enough ribs left for DH. I'm sure I can find something... salad or even cereal. We won't starve either.

Tonight is Dinner with the Pringles...and we are trying a new (to us) restaurant called the Sky Galley at Lunkin Airport here in Cincinnati. It's a little further that we usually go, but no way close to the city...ugh! lol! The restaurant has been there since I can remember, which is YEARS..lol! So we will see...

Good afternoon everyone,CAROL So good to hear from you.We miss you & your humor.

It was early dentist appt for me.All was well.Big sigh! Then errands.

Our DGS got married on Sat but we could not go due to DHs condition.We saw pictures & it was a beautiful Wedding.Down by the riverside then reception at her parents deck & big yard by River.All said it was beautiful.

Dinner will be Mac n cheese(banned) cole slaw,Baked sweet potatos,& cookies.....Becca

Good Evening All.....we were promised a wild......wild.....Monday.....but it didn't happen.....and we were so pleased.....not ready for the high winds and heavy rains just yet.....

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:-

WINE MATURES WITH AGE......I MATURE WITH WINE.......

Have missed quite a few days.....not too sure how long I have been away from the table......but it feels like forever.....
Quite a bit has happened in those days.....Claire(DGD) and her family have moved into their new house.....we made 2 trips to Bristol with bits and bobs for them as our Bristol family were helping them to move.....it should have been one trip....but we forgot things.....I know.....I know.....but we are wrinklys and we are allowed to have the "forgets".....Cindy and the men in the family(DSIL and Dgs) had to leave home at 4am......so pleased we were not involved....I am so not a morning person.....
Anyway.....all done now and the lovelys are thrilled to bits with their new bedrooms.....and Willow has still got her rash....did I mention that last time I was here.....apparently she has a crap immune system.....the rash appeared on the 25th of Aug.......
I am writing a book here so I had better get onto todays menu.....
Chicken in White Wine Sauce(in the SC)Creamed Potatoes....Cauliflower and Carrots......Coffee and Walnut Cake for afters
