Supper Club - Friday, October 3

It's blustery here today. The winds have brought much cooler temperatures. I'm going to have to think of bringing in my pots of flowers to winter in the sun room.
I'm thinking this would make a great chili night. I have a half a sandwich from dinner last evening that I could keep for lunch. A pot of chili or ham and beans would hit the spot tonight.
I looked on FamilySearch while it was raining yesterday and I had everything unplugged. I found my dad's parents, but I couldn't find the generation back from there. I'm still going to look some more.
We had a fun time last evening. It was a sports bar/grill, and I saw where the Orioles humiliated Detroit. The Royals were ahead by one, but I didn't hear the ending. I need to look it up. It's been a long time since they went to any post season play (1985). I remember when the As left Kansas City for Oakland and when the Royals became the KC team. I used to get to some games but haven't been in ages. DH is so not a sports person. I ruined my late DH with baseball when I booked a double header Royals games for our honeymoon. Both games went into overtime. A little frustration on his part. We did go to more games--just not double headers. I thought they were great bang for the buck!
