SUPPER CLUB - Wed, Sept 17th
Good Morning!
sorry I skipped yesterday. I didn't mean to. I kept starting for Chit Chat as I roamed the forum and DH would call me to come help with something. Then I went for my walk, and when I got back, I got busy in the yard - yes, it's never-ending! - and didn't come inside until after 2pm. Sorry! But I see no one went hungry while pining away for me! lol!!
IRISH, praying for your Chriss. He's overcome so much. He can do this, too. You said he's already on the list for a kidney transplant?
LADY CAROL - sounds like you had a rollicking good time over the weekend!
BECCA - I'd cut down that beanstalk, if I were you! lol!
TINA - I know you love your G-babies, but you may have to make a rule that Holly, Jaz, and Easton clean your house every day before they leave. My mom watched Lara for me when she was 1-2 yrs old and that was her rule. It seemed fair to me.
You didn't miss much with my supper last night - repeat of those burgers on the grill. We were both so tired from working outside. Yardwork here involves the tractor, saws, loppers, rakes, big tools, little tools, and beer eventually. No one was about to cook.
Today we're going to the fair so we'll probably eat there. But if not, then it will be ham & eggs with fried potatoes. Or it could be BLT's. And if I remember, I'll take something out of the freezer to thaw and put it in the crockpot for tomorrow which is supposed to be cool and rainy.
Hope your suppper, whatever it may be, is as good as my fair food!

Mary that sounds like a good rule
I told her yesterday, no more leaving messes for me to clean up, her answer...well I was going to clean it when we came to pick Easton up, says she didn't have time in the morning so I told her clean up as you go at my house. We'll see what happens next time. Hopefully she'll do it. It might be when pigs fly.
Hmmmmmm supper tonight. We still have leftovers so I think it'll be that. I have to pick Jazmyne up early today for early dismissal day, teachers do in service day for the afternoon. Holly lost her teachers aid yesterday, they hired her as another kindergarten teacher so now they will all have 17-18 instead of 26.

My computer is at the "hospital"--maybe not terminal. The back light to the screen is out. I'm slowly typing on my KINDLE or phone.
We worked at a rental yesterday repairing and putting up new trim around the roofline. I was the go-fer ground crew. We finished up the pizza I made a day or so ago. Tonight it might be soup and sandwich... maybe grilled cheese.

Good afternoon from sunny, getting warm, SW. Pa...
Mary, it's a good thing you checked in, we were ready to send out the patrol.....But, I know what you mean about getting started on something and then loosing track of time....My back usually tells me when it's time to quit.....
And, yes, Chris is on the transplant list..Although the doctors still haven't given up hope...Kathy said she talked to a friend, who had an uncle who had been on dialysis for longer than 3 months and his kidneys came back, so there is still hope...Right now, he's winning the battle with the pneumonia..Kathy said, yesterday he was really depressed and couldn't understand how he has lost so much ground...I just can't imagine (or maybe I can) how he's feeling....
Becca, no more beans??? Is your garden finished? I was checking through our "weeds" yesterday and found another zucchini hidden underneath...It's still little but it's a zucchini! Do those things ever quit? Last night I only saw 1 deer under our tree....
Joanne, so glad to hear from you....I like your thinking, might cook, might eat out....Good for you......
Well, last night was burgers on the grill and today, Jim finished the meat loaf so tonight is new food....I hope I don't confuse Jim too much when I tell him to pretend this is Ash Wednesday and we're having "mac n cheese" and pirogies...And to stick with the "fasting" I'm not baking anything so maybe no afters.....
Happy eating...............

Good morning,
Tonight is Eagle project - sewing together 500 flags - we have help 16 othrr swing machines and the small flag takes about a minute to sew, we should be good.
Dineer may just end up being a bowl of cereal when I get home.
I cut up 40 yards of fabric yesterday - 72 inch wide felt, into 9 inch squares! Sarah and Sandee helped later in the evening. 500 pieces of red and 500 pieces of green!
Enjoy,
Jana
