SUPPER CLUB - Sat, Sept 13th

Good Morning,
It was one year ago today, on Friday, the 13th, that Lucky Scottie got us. We met up at the Safeway parking lot so DH likes to tell folks we got him at Safeway! lol! I'll give him an anniversary hug later. he's busy right now, growling at the ceiling fan.
IRISH - so sorry to hear that Chris is back in the Unit. Yesterday I said a special prayer for everyone on our forum who needed help. I hope it reached him. More coming his way today. Popcorn for supper? You and Jim are as bad as Bill and I!
JANA - love the idea of oven tacos. Do you use shells or tortillas? We like Mexican food.
BECCA - Glad to hear Mom is out of the hospital. We used to estimate if all went well, our babies would go home on/about their actual due date. In reality, most went home a bit sooner than that.
CAROL - sorry to hear you didn't get to learn the Tango! lol! What a story! In our case, the teacher's wife is there, so he'll have to be quick and slick to run off with one of his students! Our lesson went fine but it's so gosh darned far away - 1.5 hours in rush hour and an hour to get back home again. That's 2.5 hrs of driving for 1.5 hrs of lesson time. And let's not forget the $12 in gas to make the round trip. I'm not enthused.
Last night we had beef stroganoff for supper at our friends house. And we played 'Golf', a card game so named because it has 9 hands and lowest score wins. It's an easy game and can be taught in just a couple of minutes. I didn't win.
Tonite - I think we'll have the last of our au graatin potatoes, ham steak, peas, and salad.
Tell us what's happening in your kitchen?
