Happy Tuesday!

I didn't get here until late yesterday and I guess everyone had already left the table. Sigh. I got deep into cleaning my kitchen cupboards and drawers and was having such a 'good' time, I forgot to eat! Today - more of the same. empty, wash, reline, purge, rearrange. I got the time-consuming ones finished yesterday. Hope to get all the others done today and wash walls and touch up paint tomorrow. Oh, and lets not forget washing the woodwork. Ugh! Don't know what's come over me!!

Tonite's supper will be one of my famous leftover casseroles. God bless the person who invented Cream of Mushroom Soup! Chicken, rice, peas, and to bind it all together - the soup. I'll cook it in the toaster oven out on the deck so we don't heat up the kitchen any more than necessary. Salad will finish off the meal. (and hopefully the leftovers!)

I hope you're not heating up your kitchen too much tonite?

We missed you Mary! I ended up making red beans and rice with sausage. I also threw in some lentils for an extra little bit of "healthy". DH said he noticed some "little pea things" in it. We had eaten watermelon at the picnic table earlier so neither of us was very hungry. I think it will be smorgasboard tonight as I try to clean up some stuff in the fridge. Of course, there's watermelon and tomatoes!

No, I'm not heating up the kitchen! I go to Joplin tomorrow, so it will be carry in for dinner tomorrow evening. No heat then, either.

We took car for recall,we were so fortunate.Took 15 mins.When we called first they said 2 to 3 hrs.I groaned.Felt real good when he called our name.Had time to run by WMart & pick up few items.

I was good today & did not stop at Subway.Green beans(fresh)sliced tomatos,& mac n cheese.Ice cream for later. Becca
