Good morning or afternoon from warm, sunny, Sw. Pa....We do have a threat of rain or thunderstorms in the forecast but most of the time, they are wrong.....

Carol, so glad to see you at the table....Boy, oh boy, how true your thought for the day is....Different times, the kids might say or do something and I'll say. I think I've done that, lol......Your dinner sounds good but I'd have to leave out the kidney beans, just not a favorite.....

Not quite sure what we might be having but it might be something on the grill...We didn't have burgers over the weekend so that could be a possibility.....Anything to avoid that stove.....

Happy eating...............

Good morning,

Finally got to the grocery store and have dinner in the crockpot for tonight, pot roast, gravy, mashed taters, and broccoli. No afters, but there might be ice cream down in the freezer.

I think that it will be just Sarah's family here tonight.

Yesterday we had a yummy chocolate cake with raspberry filling for DS4 bd. No leftovers.

Off to supervise the barn, the concrete footings are today.

Good afternoon! We are still having traditional summer fare--garden corn on the cob, tomatoes, peach shortcake, fish or roast beef or BBQ beef in sandwiches or not. The menu isn't changing much.

Natasha is back, and she loves fish, so we try to have it a lot when she is here.

I'm with you, Irish--anything to avoid the stove. I can live on sandwiches and fresh vegetables.

Carol--Mom and I were talking Saturday, and she couldn't remember something that happened 50 years ago. I laughed and told her I was sure she was O-K. I'd be worried if everything that happened 50 years ago was like yesterday and she couldn't remember 5 minutes ago and kept repeating the same question. I'm also horribly forgetful, so it must be inherited. Usually, Mom's mind is like a steel trap, but this was really obscure. I'm not worried about her... now myself...

On the other hand, some of my past is best FORGOTTEN!

When MaryZ returns, it will be back to mac 'n cheese...

Enjoy your evening!

back again.....but not for long.....ready to have an early night.....must remember 2days of having too much fun is not a good idea when you are wrinkleys and a lot of miles in between......Sir has already jumped in the bath and getting ready for beddy byes.....

Have to say though....we had a really good week end.....with a bit of retail therepy thrown in on Saturday for good measure.....shame no fabric shop in marching distance.....trust me.....I would have found it......

IRISH.....very often Sir will say.....when did you say that?or you didn't say that.......oh yes smarty pants.....moi said it probably that morning......oh yes.....selective hearing happens in this abode.......quite often....

BECCA......we grow kidney beans.....had quite a few picking so far....however I don't think we are going to get many Runner Beans this year.....usually keep the neighbours going with them.....but plants have hardly surfaced at all....must ask around......

JANNA.....belated birthday greetings to DS4
