Happy Firecracker Day! We've had a chance in the weather, sunny but not nearly as warm...Only going into the 70s today with lots of sun....

What's happening at your house today?
In years past, the families on our little street would have a neighborhood cookout and then of course, the kids would set off their sparklers etc. Good old summer memories...
I have noticed, in recent years, we have less and less firecrackers going off in the neighborhood...Maybe it's because my kids have moved, lol....

But, today in our house, it's going to be a very laid back kind of day....Jim is outside mowing the grass and wishing the grass would quit growing...I'm thinking about getting the weed whacker and wishing they would quit growing as well....But, nothing special going on...
As far as dinner, we might light the grill...I have chicken, hot dogs and burgers so we do have a choice...Might even make some potato salad....And, no good old American apple pie but I am baking some pumpkin...Both Jim and one of the DGSs will be thrilled.....

What ever you do or don't do,
Enjoy this 4th of July.......

Happy eating....................

Hello IRISH & others,Happy 4th to everyone.

We too are kind of laid back .We used to go to the celebration in Town but it is too much now for DH.We just have a quiet day with no fireworks.I watch the Capital 4th on TV.

I did some trimming on azaleas this morn.DH has been tinkering with his golf cart.It is not running smooth.

C.A.wants bacon & hulley beans. For me stir fri of onions & fresh squash & corn on the cob.Watermelon for afters...Becca
